The guesthouse was very clean and had all the facilities required, the room was nice, secure and the bed was very comfortable. I meet the house keeper Alberto, very friendly and offered information about the area and easy walks to do.

Comfortable guest house

Very clean guest house .We stayed during winter.Whole house was very warm.Clean sharing bath .Self catering shared kitchen .Friendly caretaker.Good view of sea.Walkable distance to lighthouse and seaside hot spring bath.

Beautiful house with character, fully equipped

Beautiful old house. Renovated kitchen, well equipped including dish washer. I loved the living room and breakfast room which had a lot of character. Huge bathrooms on every floor. TV/game room upstairs. Comfy beds. Fantastic communication with host.

Great place to stay.

Stay was really good and relaxing. Clean and comfortable. Was even able to use the "Staff Only" laundry facilities! Only thing negative about it was receiving "Your upcoming stay" emails for two days AFTER my one-night stay from StayWest (hotel operator). Curious and a little concerning about being double charged at first.

We got in late and left early on a one night stay on our way back to Reykjavik; check in was easy and the house was lovely. Breakfast was oddly at a cafe a few streets away (walkable) but was good and cosy.

Maison chaleureuse et très cosy dans la jolie petite ville d'Akranes. On s'y sent parfaitement bien. Le copieux petit déjeuner servi au café Lesbokin est très sympa. Une expérience heureuse que nous recommandons très volontiers

The property is clean and the kitchen is nice the Bus stopped is near by the only thing I don’t like it’s far from the Reykjavik If you want to visit Reykjavík don’t book this property

Nice place and nice area

Very nice place, in an area that we really enjoyed. We got some our best pictures of the sunset here. We were a little confused when we got there and the place was unoccupied. I had missed an email that gave instructions on how to get into the house. Once I looked through my emails and found the code to get in, everything was great. The house was clean and very comfortable.
