Renaissance Aix-en-Provence Hotel

"Great service and amenities!"

Boutique Hotel Cezanne

"If you are visiting Aix this hotel is a must. The location I’d perfectly placed to visit the Cours Mirabeau, local restaurants and the markets. The hotel staff could not do enough for us. We were there for one night as part of our French holiday for a special birthday. We were upgraded to an amazing suite and received celebratory goodies. The room was air conditioned which was appreciated due to the August temperature. The breakfast was delightful and they were able to cater for my daughter’s gluten and nut allergy. We booked a space in the underground car park for the duration of our stay. The car was safe, secure and cool. Overall an amazing experience, thank you."

Grand Hôtel Roi René Aix - MGallery Collection
8/10 Good
"Good location. Good public areas and amenities. The rooms look tired and the carpeting is old (and old concept to have wall to wall carpet)."

Hotel des Augustins
10/10 Excellent
"The main lobby was very impressive. The architecture gave the hotel a good feel. The breakfast was good, but not great. But theroom was fine. Not that it is any fault of the hotel, but rail travelers beware, the TGV station is about 10 miles from the town and it cost me $100 for the two taxi rides. Kind of made me wish that I’d skip this town. If you are traveling by car, it seems to be a very nice place to stay."

Campanile Prime - Aix en Provence - Pont de l'Arc

"We enjoyed our stay in Aix. The breakfast had a nice variety with a great selection of fresh fruit. The grapefruit was some of the best I have ever tasted! The staff are friendly and helpful. The room lighting is not great with the drapes closed which is necessary as the rooms are accessed from a shared covered balcony and other guest can see directly into the room when walking past. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower had great pressure which we also appreciated. Visiting during July, we were happy to have functioning air conditioning in the room. The hotel is a good affordable option for stays in Aix and has onsite parking. The historic center is quick car ride away (be sure to take in the huge Saturday market!) and it’s a great base for visiting Cassis, the Calanques, and Provence. One of our highlights was visiting Chateau La Coste."

"The service, the rooms, the food, the pool amenities and the restaurants were absolutely superb! I can’t wait to go back!"

Aquabella Hôtel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Well appointed hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. The pool is pleasant and useful in hot climates for cooling down but it is not one for swimming because it becomes very shallow just after halfway."
