8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (5 reviews)
"The riad is pretty average. Staff is also average. What ruined my experience is that they have a caged bird in the main area of the riad who has no stimulation (no toys or anything) and only has 1 perch. The bird is stuck there sitting on a single perch all day with nothing to do, no sunshine, no enrichment, just stuck. Really ruined the vibe for me, I felt really bad for that bird. If you try to go in the pool, the bird tries to get your attention so someone can play with it. Just very sad....

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Ait Mimoune?
The best area to stay in Ait Mimoune is the central district around Avenue Mohammed VI.

This area serves as the main commercial and administrative hub of Ait Mimoune. It's well-developed with modern infrastructure, and you'll find a good selection of shops, restaurants, and local amenities along Avenue Mohammed VI and its intersecting streets. The general layout is quite orderly, making navigation straightforward.

For business travellers, this central district is particularly convenient. Many of the larger hotels and business centres are located here, offering easy access to corporate offices and government institutions. The area is also well-connected for transport, which is ideal if you have meetings across different parts of the city.

Couples looking for a comfortable and convenient base will also appreciate this central location. You'll have plenty of dining options within walking distance, from casual eateries to more upscale restaurants.
When is the best time to go to Ait Mimoune?
The best time to go to Ait Mimoune is during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is pleasantly mild and ideal for exploring.

During these months, temperatures are comfortable, typically ranging from 18Ā°C to 25Ā°C, with less humidity than the summer and minimal rainfall. This makes it superb for enjoying outdoor activities, such as exploring the nearby Chellah Necropolis or walking through the Andalusian Gardens without the intensity of the summer heat.

Couples looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway will find these seasons particularly appealing. You can enjoy al fresco dining in the evenings and take leisurely strolls along the Bou Regreg riverfront. The comfortable climate allows for a full day of sightseeing and cultural experiences without feeling overwhelmed by the weather.

Families also benefit greatly from visiting during spring or autumn. The milder temperatures are much more suitable for children, allowing them to enjoy attractions like the Rabat Zoo or the beaches without the risk of discomfort from extreme heat.
