"We arrived around 10.30pm on a Saturday evening. The hotel receptionist was pleasant in assigning our room but then things deteriorated. We were told that we could walk up the stairs to the first floor, or take the lift by going through the bar.
Given we had heavy ski gear, the lift was our best option but it was a surreal experience to drag bags through a bar with pretty loud music playing and people who'd clearly been there a while. If anything, it looked like the aftermath of a works...
