"Ninguna queja para el personal de Recepción. Me ayudaron en todo lo posible, pero el camarero de la cena, mal educado, tuve que esperar a que me atendieran (estando el salón vacío) ya que no había nadie. Oía hablar en la cocina así que me acerqué y toqué en la puerta y de malas maneras me contestaron "¡Ya vamos!". Cuando me traen la cerveza me la dejan encima de la mesa (cuando lo normal en hoteles de 4 estrellas es que te la sirvan, o al menos, te pregunten) No esperaron a que acabara el primer plato y me trajeron el segundo, dejándolo en la mesa... con lo que se enfrió. Una vez terminé, el camarero se quedó en el salón viendo la televisión y parecía que quería que me fuera. La verdad es que muy mala experiencia. El parking, si el coche es grande (Paugeot 5008), no cabe en el elevador, sin riesgo de rayarlo, por lo que debes dejarlo en la calle y el aparcamiento no es fácil."

"Very happy with staff and property. Rooms are very clean and modern and comfortable for a one night stay. Breakfast was sufficient. The only confronting thing was the number of dogs and big dogs they were checking in and dogs being around foyer and breakfast area barking . I understand the hotel is pet friendly but it was one thing I noticed this time staying at B and B , previously perhaps there was a cap on numbers of pets each night or perhaps just a busy night when we were there. "

"Hostel Garlu totally exceeded our expectations - friendly staff and super clean. The beds were comfortable and a great shower in our bathroom. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or to recommend."

"We had a lovely week here. The accommodation was spacious and easily fitted six of us. The photos do not do the pool justice which was lovely. The house is remote. There is nothing in walking distance. You will need a car. Not much locally which was the only downside. We went to La Carlota for dinner on the Friday which was packed with locals but we managed to find somewhere and there was a good atmosphere. We returned on another night but it was empty. Cordoba is half an hours drive and we went several times. Well worth a visit for places of interest, dinner and shops. There is plenty of free parking. We also visited Granada and the Lobo Wolf Park on different days. The neighbour Lourdes was very helpful and it was easy to communicate. A few snags with the property (leaking sink etc) but it didn’t affect our stay. We loved meeting the small farm dogs who popped over most evenings! We spent a week here and added on four days in a hotel in Seville which was a good combination. "

"The only hotel in Montilla is more like a motel. Hasn’t been upgraded since the 1970s. Very inconvenient if you don’t have a car. Restaurant and food ok."
