"We spent four enjoyable days here. Our hosts were very generous, giving us lots of local insight for exploring the area, as well as some fruit grown on their own property. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun by the pool, and all the flowers and trees in the yard. Definitely a beautiful spot to stay!"

"We had such an amazing time staying at Jorge and his wife’s property. The pool was amazing and sitting by the pool in the evening visiting with family was awesome. The family made use of the pool table and the froze ball game. We swam and really enjoyed it. My husband is from around that area and we have decided to stay there again if Jorge will have us"

"Really great property, quiet area. Carlos, our host, was very helpful, gave us lots of ideas for places to see & a little insight of life in Portugal. Lovely pool. lots of outside space. We prefer places a little out of town & this fitted the bill perfectly. Supermarket a short walk up the street. Enjoyed the evenings eating at the table outside, or by the pool."

"Fabulous home in a beautiful, serene valley. You will definitely feel the love when you arrive here. We were greeted by the whole family bearing, wine, charcuterie, and a pineapple upside down cake. It is always such an honor to stay in one of these family homesteads. Lots of space, beautiful décor, amazing landscaping and views of the village. Enjoy a walk along the river in the flowers and vineyards. This is a great place to relax."

"The house is beautiful and wonderfully appointed - even better than the pictures would have you believe. Location is fantastic - minutes from downtown Aveiro, two big supermarkets and the beaches, but still in a residential neighborhood. "The room was sunny and clean, all white, with a nice kitchenette on one wall. Location is great for walking to restaurants, canal, shopping, etc. One issue is proximity to church which rang bells every 15 min all day (about 8AM to 10PM). Biggest problem was communication with host. Email instruction was to announce arrival and I would be met at door. I contacted by what's app from station and again at door. Messages read but no response after 1/2 hr. Called and told I should have known to use...

"Loverly villa with heated pool set in a quiet friendly neighbourhood. Village has small shops and bars, even a ATM. Added bonus , we were luckily there throughout the village festival celebrations which were amazing, excellent music plus a fantastic atmosphere. Ideal for families, having a car is beneficial."

"We were in town for a cousin's wedding and this house was perfect. It felt like home. The family had a great time. Lots of space both indoors and outside. Also, perfectly situated - less than 15min to Torreira (beach) and the same to most of the neighboring towns. Looking forward to going again next year."

"House was fine for what we needed it for. A bit dusty like it hadn’t been used in while. There is a tenant in the back that we only found out about a week before check-in but he kept to himself. Parking was a bit tough but we had 16 people stay at the property. Over all it did it’s job for the price we paid."
