Bed and Breakfast Piccolo Gellia
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (27)
"We stayed in this place because it was very close to Valley of the Temples (11 minutes away) which we visited prior to checking in. The GPS led us to a building but, come to find out, it wasn't the right building and we needed to come down quite a few more steps to get to the front door. It would be great if the hosts could send their guest maybe snapshots of how to go to get to the front of the building to avoid confusion. However, the host finally found us and walked us to the...

B&B AlbaChiara
3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (48)
"The owner has an attitude and he is a jerk, but the rooms are newly renovated and very modern. The beds are horrible, but that’s what you get in Sicily no matter where you stand. Now the best part. This little place has a world class chef named Costanza Gaetano. This man was extremely friendly and cooked me two incredible meals. He even has his own cookbook. You can check him out on Facebook. It’s not a bad place to stay, but if you’re in San Leone, you have to stop by and try his food!"

"A lovely lady providing accommodation in her large and ancient house in the centre of the town. Our top floor room was spacious and well equipped and our hostess was quick to give us information and advice. There's no parking provided but we were able to find a spot quite close by. Would have liked to stay longer!!"

"Supposed to be able to check in between 1 and 5 pm, no-one arrived till 10 to 2, two groups of us waiting over 30 minutes. Not given chance to use lift had to carry bags to third floor(we are both 70) not made to feel welcome, just keys thrust at us. These didn't work well and no-one around after five if you couldn't get them to work, we found people who had been sitting waiting for someone else to help as couldn't get in. No water in room. Bed clean and comfortable, not good towels, poor...
