"I was nervous to be the first to stay at a new property. Overall though, we had a wonderful experience. My four kids loved the house and it fit us well. It had a beautiful, if a bit small, view of Lake Michigan, but those trees blocking the view are also what gave us lovely privacy. It was perfectly located 15 minutes from Grand Haven and Holland. The beach nearby was beautiful. The online description of the house was accurate but I think the company managing the property just isn't quite as familiar with the property as they should be, though I’m sure they will be eventually I say this because of a couple experiences - for example, the info the sent right before we went talked about a beach buggy and ping pong table in the garage. I asked who could drive the beach buggy and how to get to the beach in the beach buggy. I also asked about a pool table because there was a pool table and ping pong table in the lower level family room in the pics and the game room and location are the reasons I chose this property. I was told we had to walk to the beach and that we couldn't use the beach due to HOA rules. I was also told no, no pool table, which was upsetting for my kids and changed the look of family time. But we arrived and there was no beach buggy and the ping pong and pool table were right there in the family room like the picture. So I honestly just think that Unsalted needs some time to get familiar with their new property and perhaps work out a few kinks. "

"Location worked out well. It’s 15-20 min to either downtown Holland or Grand Haven, both easy drive. Nice kitchen and gathering areas both inside and outside. 2.5 baths, all are on the first and lower levels so anyone staying in one of the 3 upstairs bedrooms had to come downstairs, which in the middle of the night can be a concern. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped."

"Our family loved the location. The house is very nice. We didn’t spend much time at the house except for sleeping. While some updates are needed, the house overall is exactly as described. The host was very responsive and responded in a timely manner if we had questions. We really enjoyed our time there. "

"This property is the perfect place for a family retreat! It has great access to restaurants, beaches and downtown shopping. Our favorite thing was sitting on the front porch at sunset looking at the amazing view of the Grand River. The Hosts are VERY attentive and responsive-which made the stay even more special. The property has everything you need for the river adventure including kayaks and fishing poles! We plan to come back again and again."

"This place is amazing. The view alone is worth the trip. It’s a little out of the way so there’s not much to do aside from enjoy the beach and the house. Luckily that’s all we really wanted. Holland is not too far a drive with some touristy attractions. Well appointed house, tastefully decorated and stocked with essentials. The rental company was responsive when we had questions about the hot tub. Overall a great experience, no notes."

"Good time at the lake. Favorite parts were the quiet location and screen porch. Wonderful lake view. Kitchen was not the most modern but was doable none the less. Bedrooms and other areas were fine. Hated to leave."
