Stunning location
We are a party of 5 adults and 4 teenagers and we had a wonderful holiday! The property is beautiful, and the grounds are absolutely amazing, with woodlands, an orchard, a lake and plenty of patio space around the house. The pool is large and was essential as we had very hot weather. The outside table is under a Wisteria which has been grown as a canopy, which is a lovely feature. Rooms are large with high ceilings, and it has the feel of a family home. Any questions or problems we had were dealt with very promptly by the friendly local man who looks after the property.
There is a large barbecue which we used a lot. The oven in the property is fairly small, but there is also an electric hot plate which we found very useful.
You can walk into Eymet which takes around 35-40 minutes (some of which is along the main road - not a particularly busy road but there is no pavement). Eymet is a traditional Bastide town with plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes as well as a market (and a night market in the Summer).
We also visited the Duras chateau which is a short drive away, and Lac de Pombonne which is a swimming lake with a beach. Bergerac is around 40 minutes drive, but bear in mind a lot of restaurants and shops are closed on Mondays.

Grandes vacances en grande famille
Grande maison au calme, parfaite à 9 pour tous les âges: beau et très grand domaine (avec visites de chevreuils), grande piscine, chambres et salles de bain spacieuses, étang poissonneux pour les pêcheurs, acrobranche, canoe kayak et randos (jolie bastide d’Eymet, et location vélos à 3km), marchés à proximité. Hôte très accueillant.
