"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November.
The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us.
There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace.
Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season.

"The desk staff was friendly the room was very clean. Hotel overall was very nice. Except that we couldn’t use the hot tub in the gym. We got to it about 15 minutes before the gym closed and were not allowed in and that was disappointing. It was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The gym staff was not very friendly making it clear that they close it down before the posted 9pm. "
"Everything! Friendly staff from moment we arrived, lovely room with comfy bed, great evening meal and drinks in bar and breakfast in restaurant next morning."
"Nice room, very professional staff, good freshly cooked breakfast with a good choice also good cold/continental style; dinner was also very good, strangely had to ask for ice and lemon for the gin and tonic "
"Down for a birthday party being hosted in the hotel and unfortunately I wasn’t there long enough to take advantage of the pool, but the room was very nice, extremely comfortable bed, great strong shower, tea and coffee facilities etc and the veggie cooked breakfast was delicious. "
"As always our stay was amazing. It's such a treat to get away and feel like you are in the middle on nowhere. The peace and tranquility is fantastic.
It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. We had a lovely light lunch when we arrived as we wanted to save our appetite for our evening meal which did not disappoint.
The rooms are so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. We had a great night sleep and all set for a beautiful breakfast in the morning which again was amazing.
All in all it was a fabulous overnight and we are looking forward to going back again soon."
"Hillary was so helpful and accommodating. She found us taxis and a place to have dinner. She was also very patient and kind to us, even though we were a tried and hungry group of six. The house was beautiful and just what we wanted to see in the Irish countryside. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!"
