This is a large new unit and very well equipped for a longer stay. The views from the deck are amazing during the day and you can see the lights of Athens at night. No formal breakfast but tea and coffee supplies, bread and jam more than enough for a quick breakfast before driving to the airport. Aegina island is like most Greek island, gorgeous and somewhere you want to stay longer. This hotel added to my overall enjoyment, the room was spacious and comfortable the only thing I would fault is the shower - it has a shower head on a flexihose and no bracket in the wall to hold it so you have to shower one handed. A pain trying to condition your hair! Also the shower curtain ran from one side of bathroom to the other rather than curve around the shower base, so each shower covered the...

Make sure to type in “vasilaras hotel” in maps, using the exact location Expedia gives you will send you to the wrong part of Skala. The service was good and they were accomodating, however the shower didn’t have a stand and the water did not drain from the floor very well. Also, waves of sewerage smell kept appearing in the room, I assume from the drain in the bathroom. Other than that, good place to stay that’s close to the beach and agistri is great regardless.
