Spectacular Views

Spectacular, breathtaking views. Large, clean, well equiped apartment within walking distance to everything in Agios Nikolaos. Friendly staff. Only negative was that the wi-fi was spotty in the bedroom, and slow in the living room. Would highly recommend.

Charming town!

2 nights at 9 Muses

Rooms are above a restaurant. Pleasant owner and quick check-in. The room was a good size with sun terrace with table, chairs and clothes dryer overlooking the sea immediately in front. There was a fridge, electric twin hob and coffee maker provided for self catering and average wi-fi. The beds were comfortable. Apart from the restaurant below (pizza, pasta and salad) there are more places to eat at the nearby lagoon and plenty of shopping all within 10 minutes walk. Free parking outside on the sea front. An enjoyable stay and recommended.

Er lille hotel med en god beliggenhed og en fantastisk morgenmad. Værelset var slidt men rent. Airconditionen larmede meget, men den måtte køre pga. varmen. Morgenmaden, blev lavet til gæsterne efterhånden som de kom, var enkel men lækker. Meget nærværende betjening.

Super schönes, am Meer gelegenes, kleines Hotel

Die Stadt Agios Nicolaos ist ein wunderschöner Ort auf einer kleinen Halbinsel. In den vielen kleinen Restaurants kann man wunderbar Essen. Wer das Glück hat die Restaurants zu finden, wo auch die Kretarer essen, findet ein reichhaltiges, interessantes Angebot zu sehr fairen Preisen. (Es gibt natürlich auch viele Touristenfallen.) Die Gastfreundlichkeit hat uns sehr berührt. Miachelis steht jederzeit mit freundlichen Empfehlungen zur Verfügung. Mit einem Auto kann man viel Interessantes in den Umgebung erkunden. Das Frühstück ist mit 5€ pro Person sehr üppig.

Good value in excellent location

The location and view were wonderful. We walked around the harbor to the beach, thru the maize of shopping streets and restaurants to the central square, and around to the lake area with more shops and restaurants...all within 15 minutes. Agios Nicholas is as quaint by night as by day. The water view was spectacular. The reception person was very helpful giving us directions and ideas of what to do. We had been traveling for 8 days, so enjoyed having the mini kitchen for cooking. For the value, would definitely come back.

Great room and amazing view

We visited Crete during the first week of April and Agios Nikolaos was our last stop. We are really happy to have visited there and that we stayed at 9Muses! The apartments have an amazing view and location, we had a perfect evening sitting on the balcony, drinking beer and watching a movie, while having an amazing sea view. The bed was very comfortable and all the amenities were very nice. The city is small, and 9muses have really good location being a walking distance from everything. Michalis, who runs the place, is a very nice man and we hope to see him again.

Family hotel on the sea front of the harbour

Perfect location for touring and staying in Agios Nikolaos. Hotel is on the seafront. A short walk to the centre of the town, where you find lots to see and do. Family run and they could not be more helpful. OK its not the Ritz Carlton but is perfect for the tourist. We had a fabulous view across Mirabello Bay. The room was clean and fully equipped. We loved it. I would recommend this hotel. Stay here you will love the staff and have a great holiday.

Perfect view - great stay

Booked a room for two. Great view and location. Normally, at this type of hotels the positives stop about here. Not at 9 Muses! Room was clean and tidy. Room service was excellent. The staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. The food was also excellent. We had an excellent experience of Aghios Nikolaos and would definitively seek to book the same hotel next time we visit!

For en gjestfrihet og for en utsikt! Her opplever du det virkelige Kreta. Rommene er enkle og fine med akkurat det du trenger. Fantastisk utsikt over havet og herlig med en morgendukkert i det klare vannet. Hjemmelaget brød og syltetøy til frokost smakte utmerket. Kort vei til byens sentrum. Vil tilbake!
