"A pleasant family run hotel right on the beach in Agia Roumeli. The family is so kind and friendly — made the stay extra enjoyable. The hotel dinner and breakfast were both very good and set on a terrace overlooking the beach. Really loved our stay there. "

"For the price paid the accommodation was very good, clean and larger than a Parisian hotel room. Towels were enough including the beach towel. The view is superb from the table in front of the door. The only miss was the coffe for the provided machine but the girl at the reception was helpful and the problem was solved."

A plus is that the hotel offered rides to the park entrance, stored our luggage and allowed us to park our car overnight. A nice and convenient stay before and after hiking the Samaria Gorge!"

"Hmm. This is a very good property and would be excellent anywhere else in the world but standards in Greece/Crete are very high. It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. There is construction work going on literally adjacent to the property currently so expect some noise and essentially the outdoor balcony space is off-limits during the daytime. "Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. The deck boards on the 3rd floor balcony were not attached and moved around when you...
