Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay that affected our overall experience.There was no Wi-Fi, despite this being advertised as an available facility. The outdoor lighting was also not working, which made the property difficult to navigate after dark. The bi-fold doors could not be opened, and we also had a security concern with the gate. Although it was locked, it could be forced open, which unfortunately happened on one of the nights we stayed.The check-in process also caused some difficulties. Apple Pay was not accepted, despite this being the only form of payment we had with us. It would be helpful if guests were made aware in the booking confirmation that a physical bank card is required.Finally, we had an early departure for a flight and needed to leave before the on-site reception was open. We were initially told there was nowhere to leave the keys. We noticed the key safes, but had not been provided with a code, so we ultimately had to leave the keys with village security and trust that they would be passed on correctly.Overall, there were several avoidable issues with the property and check-in/check-out arrangements, particularly around Wi-Fi, security, access and communication, which we feel should be addressed for future guests.
