"Good place to stay before a cruise"

"This is a very hip hotel with very tiny rooms - only for 2 people at most. We enjoyed the kitschy decor and the room was clean and everything was controlled by an ipad which my kid enjoyed. Problem is I took a really bad fall on the rooftop pool and ended up at ER and Urgent care where it was determined I had a fractured rib and deep bruising. The area around the pool is very dangerous and slick. I called the hotel to tell them what happened and was told I needed to email the management and inform the. I emailed them and they have not answered after a week, which basically tells me all I need to know about how much they don't care. It's really too bad but I feel like the slick surface is that way to fit the aesthetic of the hotels "theme" without any regard to the safety of their guests. It's a shame"

"The property is beautiful. Clean, very modern and upscale. The added security features were nice (need room key to access elevators) the amenities were great. They have plenty of options for foods/drinks in the rooms. (At a cost of course) but there were complimentary waters in a can and nespresso coffee pods replenished daily. Check out was a breeze, just drop your keys in the bowl and the desk will handle the rest. If you have a car, parking is a little on the pricier side and will require you to use valet as there is no self parking unless you park on the street and pay hourly. A great property overall and would recommend to anyone. "
