    “Salty Pines” is a unqiue & vibrant Bluestone property in the heart of Glenelg South, a fantastic suburb between the city and the sea. Step out to local restaurants and trendy cafes, quite literally across the road, take a peaceful walk to the beach, or simply spend quality time with family and friends cuddled within the huge welcoming walls of this 3 bedroom home. A perfect space for families or groups travelling together. Spacious for 2, but ideal for 4 + guests.



    The Space:

    Open the door and walk through the stained glass arch windows to this spacious character filled 1890s heritage bluestone home, fantastically restored with all the modern conveniences, whilst treasuring its fabulous period charm. Perfectly located in Glenelg South, a beachside suburb with magnificent pine trees lining its picturesque streets.



    The property is superbly decorated throughout, featuring 3 large bedrooms, spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen and boasting a private courtyard for outdoor entertaining. Free WIFI & Netflix is also provided.



    Experience the trendy cafes, restaurants and array of local shops along the the Broadway, and enjoy everything that the Bay has to offer. It's also easy to make a commute into the city with plenty of public transport within close proximity.



    The living and dining areas have been furnished perfectly for our guests comfort and enjoyment, with a large corner lounge suite, flat screen Smart TV with free Netflix, and some board games included if your looking to switch off from the screentime completely. The dining table is extendable with extra chairs available if you are travelling with a larger group.



    Every member of your group will enjoy a lovely vast bedroom of their own, two bedrooms feature luxury Queen sized beds, and the third bedroom with a double + single bunk bed, all with quality bedding and linen. The main bedroom has a beautiful decorative fireplace (not for actual use). For your comfort, reverse cycle air-conditioners are located in all bedrooms and in the loungeroom. 2 Queen bedrooms, All quality linen and towels provided, including one large bath sheet towel per guest.



    The well-equipped kitchen includes an oven and stove, stainless steel fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and an array of cooking equipment and utensils for the avid home chef! From the kitchen, head out the glass sliding doors to a sail shaded courtyard, where a BBQ completes the quintessential Australian beachside living. Your next move is to toast with a few friends and lots of bubbles!



    The modern all in one bathroom features a shower over full length bath, with a hairdryer provided. Washing machine and dryer are also included, and some complimentary laundry powder is provided, along with an iron and ironing board.



    Guest Access:

    Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property plus one off-street car space at the back of the property.



    The Neighborhood:

    Glenelg South is a popular and safe suburb, walking distance to beaches, cafes, restaurants and hotels. This property is nestled in a popular suburban area on a bustling street in Glenelg. There is cafe across the street and a little shopping centre only a few hundred meters up the road with a Foodland, pharmacy, post office, hairdresser etc. A mix of holiday renters and permanent residences surrounding. Being respectful of noise and neighbours is very important. Likewise, Glenelg is a busy place and the location of this house lends itself to the vibrant suburban buzz from the area.



    Getting Around:

    A few strides across the street to a handful of cute cafes, local retaliers and quiet pubs sprinked along "The Broadway". Or slightly further on (about a 10 min walk) to "Jetty Road" main street, Glenelg shopping precinct with shops, cafes, bars, restaurant, fashion and the tram to travel into Adelaide CBD (30 min). 15 min drive to the Airport. 5 mins drive to Somerton Park Tennis. 35 min drive to lovely McLaren Vale vineyards and 1 hr + 20 mins drive to Barossa Valley.



    Other Things to Note:

    Please note the driveway access to the carport is extremely tight. Larger vehicles may have difficultly getting in and out.



    Please ensure you list the correct amount of persons in your booking requests because this also ensures you get enough linen and towels included for each guest.



    We provide starter amenities only, which includes a small amount of tea, coffee, milk, shampoo, conditioner, soap, olive oil, laundry powder & toilet paper. Depending on your length of stay and usage, you may need to purchase additional items.



    For extended stays over 21+ nights, mid-stay servicing is required for the upkeep of the property. We will notify you when this is due to occur



    House trained pets are welcome by request, and an additional $100 pet stay fee applies. Please discuss with us before making your booking.



    Please note that our lawnmower contractor attends to the property every 3-4 weeks on a Thursday after 9am. As this can depend on weather conditions, we cannot advise in advance which day they will attend, however they usually knock at the door just to let guests know they are there before entering the backyard.
