Easy to find and no fuss check in. Wifi is good and room is quite. Parking overnight on street is OK. Room is quite small for 2 people. Showerhead is misty and sprays in a face and cannot make a decent shower Limited storage area. I have to ask for my complimentary wine when I check in. I cannot have a choice of white or red wine.

I was assured on check-in that the tv works, I had read reviews, room 6 tv didn’t work, the green strips of paper on the Art wall was tacky, the cleaner and staff member couldn't fix tv not smart tv, they moved me to room 8, great Art wall, tv worked, the room was missing teabags also the desk set was missing so wasn't ready for guests. The king size bed was comfortable, location is great, Melbourne Street is vibrant and lively, walkable stroll to the City, Zoo or hop on a bus.

I think that the shower heads need to be upgraded. I’ve stayed here a few times and the only thing that is an issue is the shower heads. They don’t spray properly and not enough water coverage

Fantastic check in. Room was everything we needed it to be. Undercover parking with direct access was awesome. Cannot beat the value for money when less than 100m from the free Adelaide Bus Loop and less than 15 minutes walk to the CBD/Adelaide Oval/Adelaide Zoo.

We're Adelaidian migrants to Melbs and stayed for 5 nights leading up to Xmas Day, visiting our families and friends. Overall we had a great stay here - located on our favourite street in one of our favourite areas, a big comfy bed, funky artsy decor and balcony in our room, easy parking for our rental car, a rooftop area for hanging out in and friendly, helpful staff - what's not to love! The rooms are small but manageable, even for our long-ish stay, and the room layout and furnishings are well-planned for the space. We only have three quibbles: 1. Please put more coathangers and more hooks for coats or bags - 4 hangers and one hook are only enough for one person staying for one night (maybe). And a hook or shelf in the shower. 2. Our showers would have been so much nicer with one of the high-pressure shower heads that are available these days, instead of the original old water-saving one that was in our bathroom, and emitted a fine spray from a stubby nozzle that was mounted about 2m up the wall. I washed my short-ish hair and it took me about 45 minutes to catch enough of the drops that fell in my direction, just to do the necessary. I reckon far more water was wasted than saved. 3. No internet TV seems cruel and unusual nowadays - I'd happily use my own data for playing TV & movies if my phone could talk to the TV. I mention the above issues only because they'd be quick & easy fixes and would've made our stay perfect rather than great. We'll be back 😊

A Mixed Experience at Majestic Minima Hotel, Adela
My recent stay at Majestic Minima Hotel in Adelaide left me with mixed feelings, as the hotel's charm was overshadowed by a few notable inconveniences. Arriving late in the evening to an old and somewhat confusing hotel, my initial impression was less than stellar. The confusion started when I discovered there was no one at the reception, leaving me puzzled and frustrated. It turned out that I had missed an email sent after my reservation, redirecting me to their other property located within walking distance. Unfortunately, due to intermittent internet connectivity, I had not received this crucial information, leading to a frustrating start to my stay. Thankfully, a kind fellow guest pointed me in the right direction, highlighting the need for clearer communication from the hotel. The hotel offers a guest laundry room, a welcome amenity for travelers looking to refresh their wardrobe during an extended stay. The hotel needs a substantial investment in updating the facilities, as the worn out appearance detracted from the overall appeal of the property. Another drawback worth mentioning is the cost of the parking garage, which seemed somewhat steep. However, the central location of the hotel and its proximity to various attractions may justify this expense.

I didn't get a bottle of wine so no silver member benefit, check in was fine, the room was ok, abit stuffy. I was in room 208 at the end of the corridor and other guests were constantly slamming doors, yelling and knocking on eachothers doors. I was woken up at 2.30am and every hour after. I called the reception and the guy said he would check cameras and walk over and have a look but it continued. I wont stay there again

Over all was great just like the last time i was there. Staff were super helpful and friendly. What i didnt like was the shower water smelling, the bathroom had a smell to it but not over powering. And bed was harder then the last bed. But over all i would still come back .

Pros: Area was nice, buses nearby, room had a kettle and small fridge (i think), clean, staff were nice. Cons: Strange spice scent throughout building was very strong and off- putting (trying to mask the smell from being a smoking hotel before?), cramped room, very little counter space, reserved a parking space but they have it away and i had to park in their other location.

Toilet ran half the night… cheap hotel. Probably can’t expect much more than that. Bed was comfy room was tiny.

I was quite impressed with my stay. The reception staff at the old lions was nice and friendly, the room itself was cute and cozy, everything worked. The onlu thing i saw this morning was what looked like a blood stain on the blanket, and the matteress was a bit hard for myself, but other then that i was overall happy. Thank you staff!

After reading the whinges in previous reviews, I was apprehensive but I found the king size bed and the recumbent TV viewing a plus. I liked the external and internal decor and all fittings are recent and functioning. I particularly appreciate the in-house underground parking. I am also glad when I find there is bedside lighting on both sides of the bed. The hotel is set in an attractive part of N Adelaide. It was a 25 minute walk through the green belt and beside the Torrens to my venue for the evening. The only drawback was when some nearby hotel patrons talked and laughed the whole night through, not loudly but it came through into our room..

Great little hotel in a super location. Rooms are small but well appointed with everything you need. There is individual art in each room which give the a funky feel. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful restaurants and is only a short walk to North Adelaide, Adelaide Oval and the city.
