Great memories, location and service are everything on holiday. We aim to tick more than boxes with a welcome breakfast for our guests & bottle of local wine.Opposite a gorgeous park and just a short walk from the white sands of Henley Beach, this amazing stylish and luxurious holiday home is a piece of paradise. WE ARE PET FRIENDLY and have a totally enclosed yard. We have 2 properties side by side which adds great value if neede for larger groups. Contact us if you would like to know more. Henley Beach is a much sort after Beachside suburb. Our house was completely renovated less than 12 months ago and is very comfy and relaxing with all mod cons, well- equipped kitchen, excellent heating and cooling and an additional combustion heater to add that extra ambience while on holidays. The location is great as we are opposite a large park with a large children's playground and BBQ area. We have a huge outdoor undercover entertaining area with BBQ/bar facilities, chill out lounge, hammock and another dining area for the ultimate relaxation and book reading!! This looks onto the lush gardens and good sized lawn so your pets have plenty of space to explore as well. This area is totally enclosed so your animals are safe.

The main house sleeps up to 11. We have 2 queen bedrooms and 1 double and single bunk bedroom. One has an ensuite and the other 2 garden views. We also have a double futon bed and two moveable single fold out beds. The house has two bathrooms - one with large bath, toilets and a well equipped modern kitchen with quality china, glass and saucepan wear. We also offer cable internet and foxtel with designated sports, music, movies and kids channel so everyone is catered for when it comes to the lounge with extra large TV, or you can curl up and read a book on any of the 3 couches or relax in the hammock outside in the private garden. All linen is supplied and consists of high quality cotton and also bamboo sheets. Extra duvets are supplied for each room as Adelaide does get cold in winter. There are plenty of towels in the main linen cupboard and a large 12 kg family washing machine and dryer. We also cater for children with cots, highchairs, small stroller, games and even boogie boards for the beach which is a short stroll away. We have off road carparking for 4 cars - two undercover with a roller door so if you are travelling with pets, a caravan or just want the extra security we can offer you peace of mind.

If you are part of a large group or are travelling with others we do have another Rental Property right next door. The Private Nautical Getaway at Henley Beach sleeps up to 4 and is self contained with its own kitchen , bathroom and lounge/dining and joins with a common gate. It has a quirky nautical theme and its own outdoor area as well. Its perfect as you can all meet up for meals in the main house entertaining area.

The beach at Henley is one of the best in the world with sand like talcum powder and clear blue water. You can fish off the Jetty if you like. An abundance of restaurants and cool cafes, shops, bars and ice cream parlours surround the square and grassed area. There is a water area perfect for toddlers and a fantastic outdoor shower. A great place for a picnic, swim, stroll or bike ride. You can hang out and feed the seagulls on the "wave lounges" or have fun under the water showers or just lap up the sun. Something everyone will enjoy.

We are 10 minutes from the airport (approx $18 cab fare). If you are wanting to head into the city our transport system is quick, easy and efficient due to our locality and you can be there in 20 minutes with a 5 minute walk to Henley Beach Road to catch the bus into the city - travel time 20 mins. There are also buses to Glenelg and West Lakes Shopping Centre locally. Glenelg is only 10 minutes away by car or if you are a Golfer we have 4 golf courses within 10 minutes of our house. If you are a shopaholic or like a great bargain its a one minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to West Lakes or two minutes to our local brand outlets called Harbour Town. We have all the details of times etc

Nothing beats a bit of history and historic Henley and Grange which is the next suburb with equally stunning beaches and coastline and the added opportunity of visiting Charles Sturt Cottage which was built in the 1840 surrounded by beautiful gardens and pond/creek with ducks - a great picnic spot. (We can supply the rug and basket)

If you prefer a walk along the beach from Henley Jetty to Grange Jetty you can view the amazing 'Marines' at Grange, (Australia's only Victorian Terrace Houses built on the seafront) Its only 20 minutes into the city with buses running regularly along Henley Beach Road. There's a 7 x Day supermarket only a few minutes walk on Henley Beach Road

Linear Park is a 10 minute walk away where you can have a picnic, feed the horses or just have a stroll. If you like bike riding and picnics there are plenty of bike tracks that go from Henley to the City or the Beach along the River and plenty of secure parking for bikes, cars, caravans or boats.

Just a 7 minute to a beautiful white sandy pet friendly beach and many lovely cafes. A very gorgeous leafy city and many quirky fun small towns sprinkled around Adelaide. We loved our holiday and highly recommend this fantastic home with very helpful owners.

Great family home
Just spent 10 days in Adelaide in this wonderful family home at Henley Beach. Location was perfect (close to the softball grounds, beaches, places to eat and not to mention drive to the city). Comfortable, clean, plenty of linen/towels, cooking utensils- great outdoor/indoor area for relaxing, choices of BBQ/weber for us to use and a lovely garden area to sit and enjoy. Our wonderful host Bridget went above and beyond with supplies and extras that made our stay enjoyable and perfect (like home away from home). Would definitely stay there again.

We were in Adelaide for a family wedding. Three generations from three different states. Bridget was amazingly helpful and cooperative with both our check in time and also gave us late check out. The house was clean and comfortable. As she had told us there was a playground across the road for the children and lots of toys and games in the house. Beach quite close. She had stocked the fridge with lots of goodies which was a lovely surprise! (The only thing we couldn’t find was pepper!) Laundry facilities; ironing board, washing line; everything we needed. A recommended holiday destination. Thank you Bridget.

Great place to ‘park ourselves’ for a family holiday. Very pet friendly which suited us very well. Communication with owners was excellent . Quiet area. Lovely to have a wine & beer chilling when we arrived.
