Quiet Weekend

The property is so clean and pretty. For it to be on the back of a house, it was surprisingly very peaceful and quiet. Would stay again.

Great Stay

This was a last minute stay due to a funeral. Owners were amazingly accommodating and the unit is quiet and peaceful. The Koi pond with waterfall was nice to sit around and remember our son.

Great

Very nice little studio. We enjoyed it very much. Came down on a Friday and stayed until Sunday for a concert that was in Kennesaw. Bed was very comfortable and the whole place was very clean and quiet. We would stay here again.

Good alternative to a hotel

I was very stressed and needed some R&R. Chose this over a hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed the central air, hot tub and bathtub. Pictures need updating..

Great amenities for the price

Beautiful back yard and nice amenities. Great value. Pretty private considering it's part of the owner's house. Footsteps can be heard from above, but it was never a problem for us or at inconsiderate times. Location is very convenient to downtown Acworth. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Cozy romantic getaway

This location was about 1.5 hrs away from ziplining and horseback riding. Went paddling at Ackworth beach about 10 min away. Bed was nice and firm with 3 different blankets to choose from. Every night we used the hot tub it was fabulous and watched the koi fish. I would stay here again.

RELAXATION!

Bed was comfortable, shower had nice pressure w/plenty of hot water, Michael was responsive. In the morning, sipping coffee, listening to the water feature and the birds as the sun rose was an amazing way to start our day. Then after chasing a 3 y/o granddaughter all day, the HOT TUB was the perfect way to end the day!

Perfect for baseball

My son and I stayed here for Lakepoint games and it was perfect. Nice running zen pond to sit and decompress. Fridge and freezer. No laundry put I took his clothes to peachy clean and they were great easy and done in less than 30 min. Publix 3 min away and we are almost every meal except one late game we did Waffle House which was right there too. All 10 min from Lakepointe. Thanks

Comfortable and clean. Did not like all the TV lighting while trying to sleep. Needed more than 1 wash cloth per person for 4 nights. But we should have asked for more overall it was nice. Loved the back yard nature

Great short term retreat space

This space is great for a partner get away. If you want to quickly get to hiking paths at Red top mountain and to the lakes, this home basement with Koi pond and hottub is a great relaxation space after being in nature all day. We brought all our food and enjoyed the fridge and microwave. TV space is cozy, bed is OK and the space was clean. The chlorin of the Hottub was strong in smell initially also in the living space. We appreciated knowing it was clean and serviced and once we left he window open for a while the smell dissipated. We would come back. Liked the privacy (although a basement space) of the backyard and the use of hot tub and koipond sitting area. Well thought out and practical...

Holiday stay

Nice property but I don’t think it should be advertised as an apartment. We assumed it was some sort of duplex or upper lower level units. A little misleading when it comes to the description, it should be advertised as the lower level of the hosts home. As a traveler from other states it could of been misleading. We were scared to talk and my husband has a deep voice so it can be awkward when your staying in someone’s basement. On the bright side, The property was clean and it gave us the home away from home feel. Check in and check out we’re both seamless. The temperature stayed very warm and cozy. We brought extra blankets and used the multiple heaters next to bed and couch. Great stay

Neat unit but would not stay again.

The location is nice, the backyard is very pretty, and the inside looked like it was cleaned well. Unfortunately, the unit smelled horrible the whole time we were there. It smelled like something had soured or mildewed. We could not figure out where the smell was coming from and the host did not offer to come find the smell or do anything other than give us a bottle of febreeze (and did not give us any credit for the trip for staying in the smell). Additionally, the unit is underneath the main house and behind the garage. While this wasn't a huge deal, we definitely heard the hosts walking around upstairs or working in the garage (I heard them at midnight one night). The thermostat is in the main house so you don't have direct control over the temperature (though they said they turned it down when we asked). Due to the smell and the non-existent effort of the host to address the situation ("thanks for letting us know, we'll check it out when you leave"), we would not stay here again.

Good Option for Location

We enjoyed our stay at the little suite in Acworth. We found the rock path to get around to the entrance quaint, but wouldn’t work well for anyone with mobility issues. Getting to the path is a bit awkward as you have to navigate down the driveway of the house past large work trucks. The outside space is serene with lots of natural ground cover and a little koi pond and space for a burn pit down by a nearby runoff stream. The little refrigerator and microwave were convenient. The bed is comfortable, but the headboard fits loosely and can rattle against the wall with any movement. The hot water in the shower takes a bit to warmup and the adjustments are tricky. The couch is comfortable, television is nice and the special lighting was fun and unique. The hot tub was very nice and we enjoyed using it a few times, however it is in need of a good cleaning and treatment as there was scum on the sides and the water was murky. This space is good if you need a place in the area and we would recommend it overall.

OK for our one night

The decor and amenities in the studio were fine, bed was comfortable. We found it to have several inconveniences. There was a small trek to the basement room but was complicated by a very uneven path over steps and rocks that were difficult to walk while carrying rolling luggage that you couldn’t roll. Sat outside for a while and the outside lights came on. When inside, our puppy was in a crate we lugged down not knowing a crate was in the closet we probably could have used. Would have been nice to know. The room was not as cool as we would have liked. We couldn’t find the thermostat only to find out that we had no control over it as it was upstairs. Owner did say he would lower it. All we had seen on the listing was ‘Pets allowed’ with the host being informed. I had informed the Host. He tells me after we have checked in that in looking back he sees that we have dog and need to pay a Pet Fee. Nowhere did I see a Pet Fee mentioned. It was only $25 so I paid it but double checked cannot find a Pet Fee mentioned. There were only 2 outlets in the apartment visible to us - within 3 feet of each other. We found none in the living room. We told host we would be gone by 7-7:30AM. When we were trying to load the next morning in the dark, the outside lights were not on and we could not find a switch. It was rather treacherous, and actually dangerous. Would not stay again due to these inconveniences and hazards.
