- Stay at one of the most unique experiences in the finger lakes. Weather you kayak or boat to this secluded location. There is just something about going right from the water to your bedroom without any land, yard, or dock. Your friends will be jealous of the super peaceful evenings or mornings you will have. You don't just get a view, you now exist as a real life post card. Cayuga lake offers restaurants, bars, and wineries with boat access. Not to mention the fishing and water sports of all types on the lake.
Boat rentals are available at several of the marinas.
If you bring you own boat, there is a DEC boat launch at Mudlock on River Road.
Other launches are available at Cayuga Lake State Park, Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, and Union Springs which are some of the closest.
