"Traumhaft schön gelegene Unterkunft. Elena die Vermieterin wohnt mit im Haus aber man kann in Ruhe seinen Urlaub genießen, weiß aber das immer jemand da ist wenn man etwas braucht. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit 2 Sonnenterrassen und traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und die Küste. Einzig der Zugang zur Unterkunft ist nicht so ganz einfach da die Straße die dort hinführt sehr sehr schmal ist. "The property itself was fine. The neighborhood was not a goid neighborhood. The parking was a nightmare. No onsite parking. I asked before hand and was told lots of parking. Not so true. "The place was clean but it needs love....some repairs and paint job. An overall feeling of neglect. The terrace is just like the picture and we had a lovely afternoon there. The staff is very good and answers quickly. They made the difference. Without them I believe we would have left. We were there for a week. We took the tourist bus that picks you up in town ( about a 10 minutes walk just after the grocery store Coop, and brings you to Catania. On the way back it also stops at Aci Castello....

"This unit is located right on the cliffs and has stunning views. It is spacious and in a great location. That being said, many items were broken or missing. The freezer had frozen solid and water ran out onto the living room floor, the stove didn't work and the handheld propane lighter was empty, the coffee pot didn't work, there is 1 pot holder so we had a hard time moving a pot of pasta to the sink to drain the water, there were no dish towels so we were not sure what the owner expected us to...

"Giuseppe and Jano made us welcome in person, and had provided bottled water, home made wine (unbelievably good) and the most delicious blood oranges and lemons from the garden. They could not do enough for us! The property would be hard to find but their directions meant we found it easily. A car is necessary for stays here but it is worth it - quiet and comfortable with amazing views from the patio and roof garden. Thank you both for letting us stay here!"

"Our stay at Ornella’s appartment was wonderful. The place is super comfortable with each bed room having its own en suite bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed and front room was lovely. Ornella was a fantastic host and took great care of us. Restaurants recommendations were great especially bar Marino a short walk away for amazing pastry’s made in house for breakfast. Highly recommend"

"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."
