"Room was okay, staff were courteous and listening. However, management had to do something about smoking policy on the first floor where customers are permitted to open wide their doors and fill the entire floor with smoke. It poses terrible hazard on everyone on the entire building. Also had to be chasing on a single iron which is used by everyone,for this reason I had to wear my clothes without ironing."

"I have stayed here for the past 5 to 6 years and there has been a lot of improvement. From reception to cleaning. I didn't go to the restaurant this time ,so I can't say much about that but room service was good. Food has improved . My only downside was the water wasn't warm enough for showers and restaurant need a little more improvement with their burgers. Comparing the past which was always 6,I will give them a 9/10 this time. Am happy they listen to reviews. See you all soon."

"I really enjoyed staying at the African Regent Hotel in Accra, Ghana. It was enchanting to walk into the very African themed lobby to hear piano music playing. And that was just the start of a wonderful week staying there. The breakfast, although not very varied from day-to-day, filled me up and got me ready for full days of touring. I used the pool and the loungers and was very satisfied with them. I happened to catch a cold just as I arrived, and I tell you, it was the most wonderfully comfortable bed to rest in for a day or two before I felt better. The staff were incredibly helpful all the way through, and they are very nice and welcoming. The rooms are well thought out and fully equipped. Even the bar is really pretty! I would definitely stay there again."

"I really enjoyed this hotel. It's a little run down from it's former glory...but the staff are genuinely welcoming. From the first contact to the last. Pool is nice. Gym is fine, except non of the weights are particularly heavy. Juliette on reception was excellent. And please try the goat light red soup...it was excellent."
