Had a wonderful time! Always so fun to be in Abingdon, and this cottage has an ideal location; very close to Main Street, restaurants, and a very short bike ride to Creeper Trail! Well, definitely stay again!
This cottage was perfect for our stay in Abingdon. It is a beautiful little cottage and the ideal size for our 4-person group. It is walkable to anything in downtown so we just left our car at the house and did not worry about parking. It was very easy to communicate with the owner and they are very responsive. I am looking forward to staying here again!
Great location. We could walk to any of the attractions or restaurants in historic district. House was well stocked and communication was excellent. Would stay again
We three lady friends celebrating birthdays were here for a super cold week in December with plans to walk everywhere, and we still did. Braving the cold, we enjoyed shops and restaurants nearby as well as a great musical at Barter theater. House was cute, cozy, and clean. Easy in and out.
Love the cottage and within walking distances of everything I wanted to do. The cottage was very clean and one of the best get aways I have had in a very long time.
Family spent the weekend for my Dad's 80th bday celebration. Perfect place for our short trip. Very clean and great location. We will plan to return when it's warmer to enjoy the sites & hiking.
The property was beautiful, inside and out, and we couldn't have asked for a better location, just a block off Main Street. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. And thats saying a lot as we all have bad backs!Would definitely come back if it were closer to home.
What an adorable place! Beautifully decorated with a cozy cottage feel. The host provided everything you could need in the home. The outdoor space by the creek was very peaceful and the location was one of the best features. Walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops. Excellent stay!
This home was perfectly appointed and well-located. The host has personal touches throughout -shabby chic decor and we felt immersed into this quaint little town. Home was very comfortable for our family of 5, nice outdoor spaces, access to the park across the street and easy access to Damascus for biking, food and adventure.
We absolutely loved staying at this lovely cottage! Sitting on the front porch rockers in the evening watching the lightning bugs was so peaceful. The yard and house were perfect for a weekend away and the location could not have been better! It was walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Creeper Trail. We would definitely book to stay again on our next trip!
We wre very comfy in the cottage with everything we needed. Loved the fire pit by the creek, back porch with lights, and drink station. Close to town. Front porch was a nice place to sit in the evening.
It was our first trip to Abingdon and we loved it. The cottage was so comfy and close to everything. The cottage was neat, clean and had everything we needed and we will stay there again on our next visit. Plan to return for more plays at the Barter and more rides on the Virginia Creeper and visits to the shops.
Perfect spot for a girl's weekend. We enjoyed both the creek out back and the covered porch out front. This tidy home is comfortable and well equipped. A Mama duck and her ducklings came from across the street and jumped in the creek behind the house which was a sweet sight.
We love Abingdon and The Olde Springhouse cottage is the perfect location to enjoy it! It’s a short walk/bike ride to the Virginia Creeper Trail, to the historic part of town, and to many wonderful restaurants. This charming cottage has a well equipped kitchen and a wonderful porch for drinking coffee in the morning and watching the ducks cross the street. Host was wonderful and always follows up quickly. We’ll be back!
This cottage was so thoughtfully equipped with special touches to make our stay very comfortable. The location was perfect, near to everything, the home was bright and clean, with a generous amount of towels and comfortable beds. We even had a place to bring our bikes inside and charge my electric bike. We didn't expect the lovely yard and we enjoyed the rockers on the front porch, watching the busy world go by.
