Just completed this one bedroom one bathroom (sleeps three) modern lean cottage is in a very desirable location. Situated a stones throw from South Holston Lake and Painter Creek marina this property is stunning. Both Bristol and Abingdon are about ten minutes away and the new Hard Rock Casino is about fifteen minutes. The Bristol speedway is approximately ten minutes as well. Relax on the large deck and enjoy the gas fire feature table. The bedroom is behind double glass panel barn doors and has a king bed with super comfy mattress. Hi end luxury linens await you. The bathroom is large and has a tiled walk in shower, sink with light up mirror and water closet. The living room boasts twelve foot ceiling and has a couch that folds out to a queen bed, a comfy chair, a gas fireplace and massive windows to view the outdoors and the massive deck. The living room is open to the full kitchen with a granite top island, full fridge, oven, microwave, regular pot coffee maker and a Nepresso coffee maker, sink and dishwasher. This property is truly an oasis. It is easy to relax here as it is peaceful and quiet. Come try it out. We guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Bring your boat as we have plenty of space for it.If this one is booked for your dates please check out our other vaca rental, vrbo property number 2675915. We do allow one dog per stay, less than 15 lbs and on the low shed list. It also must be pre approve and the pet fee must be paid. No other pets are considered. We do not allow service animals. Cute cottage near Abingdon

The cottage was very nice and just the right size for the two of us. The area was very quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out over the large backyard. Because of the weather we stayed inside a lot and felt very comfortable. A great choice for a weekend getaway!

Exactly what we were looking for

This space was perfect for my spouse and I for a long weekend visiting family in Abingdon. It’s 20 min or less from anywhere we wanted to go, but far enough out that it was quiet and private. The space was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We will be booking here again!

The property was clean, beautiful decorated and perfect for a couple. The bed was very comfortable, there were super fluffy towels in the bathroom. The owner was friendly, gracious and left snacks and Nepresso pods for us. The property is a guest house that shares a driveway with the adjoining house. This wasn't a problem for us. There is not a house directly behind the property so the back deck overlooks a sprawling tree lined backyard. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Abingdon.

Such a darling property. Suited our needs perfectly. Easy to get to and check in and out was painless. We didn’t need to contact the host, but if we would have I’m sure we would have wait we needed immediately, The place was immaculate and had everything anyone could possibly need or want. Great location and fantastic owner.Unfortunately there was a bug and ant problem.Also, once covers weee removed at time of check out, the mattress had done unsavory looking stains. But, the location was great. Tasteful design.Owners were right next door and very responsive.I hate to leave any negative comments because it’s a great place overall. I’m sure the ant issue and the potato bug problem is easily remedied.Would stay there again.

Wonderful Retreat

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights along with our pup and had a great time! We are big on cleanliness which was why I chose this cottage and it did not disappoint. The owners were so accommodating- leaving dish soaps - snacks- and Nespresso pods. We enjoyed watching the cows in the back and the fire pit on the deck! Owners were very kind and responsive. Would def stay here again!

Loved this little cottage!

Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet get away in the mountains. It is a true “tiny house” and is so incredibly charming! The property owners were also wonderful and very prompt to reply to any questions I had. It is also conveniently located near Bristol, just a short drive away. It was the perfect spot for my “girls weekend”! I would stay here again and recommend to anyone!

We enjoyed a fall weekend to Abingdon VA/TN. Our VRBO was just perfect with all we needed. One of the best stays

This property is fabulous. Not only was it spotless but the amenities are wonderful. The king size mattress was incredibly comfortable as well as the furniture for reading and relaxing. A Special Place !

I am an avid fisherman and the weekend forecast for Lake Holston October 11-13th was awesome - I booked this last minute and could not be happier ! The home is everything you see with an expansive view down the hill from the rear porch to a wooded area. Minutes from Painter Creek Marina. And I am now a Nespresso fan !
