The area is rich in history, with some of Europe’s finest surviving castles nearby. Take a trip to Abergavenny Castle (3.5 miles), set against spectacular hills, or wander through the charming market town of Crickhowell (9.5 Miles) to see its historic castle remains. The region also has a vibrant events calendar, including the Usk Show and the Abergavenny Food Festival, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy local culture before returning to the comfort of your cosy, modern retreat.
