"The Glengower was perfect for our two night stay in Aberystwyth. Our room on the third floor provided a good night's sleep and was a good size, with a good bathroom. "The room was spacious and warm. There was a kitchenette in the room with a fridge and small freezer. We enjoyed the pool, sauna and the steam sauna. Breakfast took a long time to be served and I felt that it is expensive for what we got. Evening meal was more enjoyable. Lovely location and friendly staff."

"This is a quirky place just off the promenade ,there are no staff at reception but an envelope with all details and actual keys to your room and front door.We could see the sea from the bay window and had a shared bathroom ,there are rooms with en suite but fully booked for our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options,two cheerful girls cooking,no sign of the owners but it all worked smoothly ,also the eggs are from a local farm."

"I'm glad that I stayed at The Castle Hotel finally. It was very pleasant! My room was spacious and had nice views out of the windows, the bed was comfortable, the staff were pleasant. It wasn't right in the middle of Aber, so it was quiet (minus the noise from the car racing - but I had a great view for it). Easy walk right down to the sea. The only drawback was not having a lift, but that is pretty common and my fault for having a heavy suitcase! I would definitely stay again."
