"Good staff and choice of food"

"Don't expect the glamor of the lobby photo online--that is very good photography, but the reality is a bit less grand. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but Pakistan is not as advanced as some of its neighbors when it comes to tourist infrastructure. (It was two days before I saw anyone who wasn't South Asian in Islamabad--there just isn't that much tourism, or even that much international business, at least that I could see. There is only one bank where you can withdraw from a foreign account, etc.) But by the local standards this is a good hotel, and although the powere went out for a few seconds several times a day, and the internet was slow, everything worked, the food was excellent, and the staff, as I say, superb."

"The concierge at the hotel was very helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the housekeeping was always on it. Thank you for making our stay easy. There's a lovely garden to sit in with umbrellas for shade if the sun is out. Loads of different type of birds can be seen from the window. The hotel is close Islamabad's main attractions and also to F10 & F7 which can be regarded are the foodie areas."
