"Proper traditional Japanese stay. However check-in isn’t straight forward you have to message the owner 2 days prior which sometimes can be a nuisance."

"The place is very new and nice BUT it’s a small little town with nothing but I paid SGD 420 for it for a night! They can’t even extend check out for an hour . Not friendly at all. And the washing machine has no dryer too."

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was comfortable with everything we needed. The staff super friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was plenty and delicious.
However, the hotel has got only 1 elevator, which can be very full at certain times which means you've got to wait a long time to get on. But apart from that everything was great. Thank you

I like the dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the onsen.
I didn’t like the traditional tatami room. I found that it was difficult to sleep and the pillow was small and very hard.

Overall I enjoyed my 2 nights here. Pluses - easy parking on site, free breakfast ok with hot and cold dishes, Japanese and western but no tea available.
Room ok just a bit dark. Wifi variable.
Laundry facilities good.
First night I was on 3F which I think was above the public bath and so noisy with machinery noises I hardly slept. I asked to be moved to a higher floor and the gentleman took care of it all and I slept well the next night on 8F. In the morning of course there were guest wake up...

Located in the centre of the town, so there's dining options like bars and yakiniku and convenience stores within walking distance. Keep in mind though it is a town that is in gradual decline and it shows when you walk around, especially down the main or high street a block back from the highway. But the town is still perfectly clean and safe. Parking is onsite and included. It's an older hotel and but still well looked after. The room is centrally climate controlled, which might not be to your...

Very conveniently located near the train station and bus terminal making it a good place to stay while visiting Shiretoko National Park using public transport.
The hotel also has a nice hot spring.
