"Overall, we had a great stay. Only issue was some mold/mildew allergens in the decorative pillows and the couches. It was an easily fixed by covering the couch with the extra sheet that was provided and airing the rooms out during the day. Loved that the windows open fully to let in the sea air!! Pool area was nice, the kitchenette was well stocked, and it's a quick walk to the beach. Beware that shops and restaurants other than those in the Icona(s) were not walkable. Best to bring in any grocery items you'll want. "

"We booked this property for a family reunion and to celebrate our grandmother's birthday. We had 16 people and two small dogs stay over. It was the PERFECT property. The home is big enough that everyone can split off and do their own thing while still remaining close to each other. At any given time, we had people playing in the heated pool, relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying a BBQ on the deck, or hanging out inside to play board games. There was never a shortage of activities to do at the home or around the area. The dogs were able to enjoy the yard located by the pool area and we were able to let them run around without having to worry about them being hurt or slipping through the fence. Ed keeps the house stocked with anything you might need and was extremely attentive. We were running into issues connecting to the speakers located on the deck and Ed was there to help before we were able to finish troubleshooting ourselves! He was seriously an amazing host and worked to ensure we were able to relax on our vacation. Our whole party really enjoyed the home and we will definitely be back for any future reunions we may want to have. This was the perfect home away from home and such a wonderful experience. You will not regret staying here! It was one of the most stress-free, relaxing vacations we've had - even with a hectic house filled with multiple people and two dogs!"

"The Desert Sands is very nice. This is not our first time, and we enjoyed every time we stayed there. The location and facilities are excellent. We especially noticed that he staff was very courteous and supportive. We did have an issue with a partially clogged shower drain in a bathroom. When we discussed it with the staff, they were very understanding and supportive. Good place. We will stay again."
