"This is an amazing resort. The highlights are the scenic setting on the cliffs, and the private beach! Be aware that you reach the resort by boat. You can walk the monkey trail into town but it's a long walk. You reserve boats to go into town or for any sight seeing excursions. If you stay late in Krabi you can hail a water taxi if necessary. The cost was about 700 THB. If you want to get away from it all you can't beat this resort. The only downside is the extra time and planning required when you want to do anything off property."

"The location, the hotel as a whole, the gym, the breakfast the staff all so lovely and friendly. Reasonable options close by but then Ai Nang is not too far away as well. Will be returning next year. "

"The Slate Hotel in Phuket is a luxury resort. I had a wonderful stay here, the spa and restaurant facilities are excellent. The breakfast buffet is especially impressive. Staff are extremely friendly, polite and quick to respond to any queries. I had a great stay and would definitely come back. Only thing I would change is the pillows in the bedroom - they are all quite soft and flat. "

"This is a beautiful small resort on Tubaak beach, just outside Krabi. The beach is pristine, with a long shallow entry to water. The scenery is outstanding. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The rooms are large and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower and bath. Would absolutely return. "

"Total oasis 15 mins from the airport. One of the only swimmable beaches and it’s lovely, with gentle waves in the morning and tree swings overlooking the shore. Incredible deep adult pools, impeccable service, delicious food at every restaurant, family areas with games, walkable shopping area. Transferred from another hotel on the east side for this and so grateful we did. Fully recommend. Only thing I would’ve liked would’ve been loungers and service on the beach. "
