"Nice hotel with peaceful environment"
Stayed there four days in early March 2017. Best if prefer more peaceful and quietness away from the busy Hirafu center. The hotel had everything we needed as per family with small children. Onsen, restaurant, bar, locker room for ski equipment, convenience store, shuttle bus service to all ski areas and New Chitose airport (with fees). Very attentive and knowledgeable staff.

"Good Resort - great for skiing"
We had five wonderful days staying at the North Tower of the Rusutsu Resort. Skiing was available for all, from beginners to advanced, with ample ski slopes and great snow. We were blessed with great weather for all five days - clear sunny days and light snow at night. The equipment rental and ski school are within the resort, with a good number of great instructors. Adequate number of restaurants and eateries. Loved the ice cream and the local delicacies. The service is great throughout, making our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. There was little need to leave the resort for anything and we didn't.

"Great luxury hotel with top-notch service!"
Special shoutout to Elyse at the frontdesk for patiently explaining everything to us and helping us arrange our transport to the Kutchan train station, even taking it upon herself to help us check train times! The apartment was good-sized, and we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of eggs, muesli, apple juice etc. The shuttle around niseko was also punctual and operated at hourly intervals by a friendly driver who pointed out things of interest to us on the way around Hirafu (: I only have one complaint - the apartment is operated by central heating, so theres no way to adjust the air-conditioning. Each room has its own radiator, but theres no way to get the temperature down. It got a little stuffy in the second room, which didn't have any windows, and we had no choice but to leave our balcony door slightly open overnight to maintain a comfortable temperature. It's not that big of a deal though!

"Japanese experience"
After a week of skiing the Niseko area we spent two nights here. We took the hotel shuttle bus in the morning to continue skiing and returned to the relaxing, peaceful oasis of the Konbu Onsen in the afternoon. We enjoyed exquisite Japanese cuisine. Each meal was a work of art, beautifully presented and such subtle, delicate flavours; a feast for the eyes and taste buds. The outside pool area of the onsen was particularly lovely with a great view and we loved toasting marshmallows after supper on the open fire in our hotel issued socks and pajamas. It is pricey but gives a extra dimension to a ski holiday and an opportunity to experience Japanese hospitality.

"Ultimate comfort and style, unbeatable location "
All thumbs up for this stylish place. Perfection in all aspects: best location for skiers; true ski-in ski-out, excellent service and cleanliness throughout. Fantastic onsen. Stunning view. Walking distance to town but frequent shuttle available. Impeccable style and functionality. Gorgeous small rooms and super comfy beds. Delicious breakfast however a bit cramped spacewise. Would definitely return.

"Great location close to the pistes and restaurants"
Likely one of the best location in Grand Hirafu; the only drawback is the distance from the gondola base but the hotel provides a shuttle to get there quickly. The hotel is brand new and has great facilities. The only disappointment came from the room furniture which is not even "IKEA standard", non acceptable for a 4 or 5 star hotel; the dinning table was so unstable we had to hold our wine glasses vs the risk of them spilling over. The frequent and abundant snowfalls are the trademark of Niseko and we were lucky to have plenty, if not too much, during our stay as the top of the mountain and the gates to out-of-bound areas were closed 4 days out of 7 because of the avalanche risks (snow and strong winds). The ski resorts (Grand Hirafu and Niseko Village) however require a serious upgrade in terms of ski lifts, both capacity and speed. It is not uncommon to face 40 minute queues early in the morning or when the top portion of the mountain and the gates are closed. This is really frustrating when you were "down" 4 days out of 7 and when you have a ski guide that you pay 55,000 yens for 6 hours...
