"Good Resort - great for skiing"
We had five wonderful days staying at the North Tower of the Rusutsu Resort. Skiing was available for all, from beginners to advanced, with ample ski slopes and great snow. We were blessed with great weather for all five days - clear sunny days and light snow at night. The equipment rental and ski school are within the resort, with a good number of great instructors. Adequate number of restaurants and eateries. Loved the ice cream and the local delicacies. The service is great throughout, making our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. There was little need to leave the resort for anything and we didn't.

"Quiet Stay Away From the Action "
Having a car was a must, because it meant we were not solely dependent on the hotel shuttles to get us to and from the slopes, supermarket and restaurants. The hotel itself is alright, seemed like there were a lot of staff in training as we arrived at the beginning of the Dec 2016 season. Room service was not bad. (We were originally told by the staff who led us to our room that it was not available at that time, but we called conceirge and checked out the info booklet ourselves and discovered that it was still in service) Not many Japanese food options on the menu. Most of the food served at the hotel is western. Breakfast is also western and nothing to write home about, it's pretty much the same every morning. They switch things up like instead of an omelette, it's scrambled eggs. Or instead of corn soup, it's pumpkin soup. The hotel room is spacious but smaller than photos shown online. Not sure why we had to seperate the garbage which I did meticulously (plastic, combustibles, kitchen waste, etc) cause I saw housekeeping throw everything back into the same bag. Beds are comfy, toilet seats are heated, bath is great but water temperature does not stay constant. There were 3 ladybugs in our room the whole time, didn't have the heart to kill them by sending them out into the snow. Kitchenette was useful especially since we hit the supermarket. Onsen was a bit small, but has a nice outdoor and indoor area. If you go during the day, there are a lot less people.

"Nice ski in and out location with private onsen"
We have stayed at 3 other hotels in Niseko, but this one had the nicest onsen of all. You can book a private onsen at no additional cost if you wanted. The hotel was very clean and being located next door to the gondola made it very convenient for skiing. The front desk staff did a great job with answering any questions and we're extremely helpful. The rooms were a bit small. My husband likes to stretch a little since he tends to have back problems, but the room was too small for him to do that. This is the first hotel that I have stayed at in Japan that didn't have a bathtub and the shower was very small. I ended up bruising my back on the towel rack that they put in the shower. They also have a mirror in the shower so when you use the toilet it's a bit strange. Storage is not plentiful in the room so things tend to get messy. You really are paying for the location and the great customer service. I hated the ski valet system that they used. At times there was a line and being that most people rent skis this leads to problems as some people get confused about what gear is theirs. The staff then ends up running around trying to help them find things. I had to wait a long time one morning as someone left their gear outside and couldn't find it the next day. The staff politely explained repeatedly that if it's left outside that the hotel wasn't responsible. This should be common sense. Sometimes I just grabbed my gear myself and I never gave them my boots. Good place though.

"Excellent place to stay in Niseko"
Love everything about this accomodation. Location is great near to town and chair lift, ski vallet in particular is fantastic. the onsen is to die for, room is better than expected - too bad we are at the level 2 so can be a bit noisy but not a problem at all. Still very nice place to stay. Wish we could stay longer.

"Nice hotel, great location for après ski"
The apartments are small but well designed. Good sized bedroom and bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Niseko' best restaurant is attached to the hotel and happy hour at the Gorilla bar was great. The hotel even organised one of their own cars to get us to the bus stop at the Welcome Centre at 7am on the last day.

"Sling or Riding Kiroro? Stay here!"
Lovely room in fresh condition. Great bed and linens. Convenient! Attached to base lodge. Nice amenities like basement ski locker and refrigerator, coffee/ tea set up. Only thing I would change is that the outside onsen is a chorinated hot tub with bubbles. Not really a traditional or relaxing feel. Also the breakfast buffet was pricey.
