Good location, 2 doros next to 24/7 food market (with good selection of healthy food, wines and prepared meals and salads). Wallgreens is inside as well (although not open 24/7). Hotel is centrally located. 5 mins walk from Powell metro stop.

"Pretty good"
The staff is friendly. This hotel is right in the middle of almost everything. The only thing I didn't like was that u could hear everything the walls were really thin

"Good location to main tourist areas"
I like the location though it is at the edge of a rough neighbourhood. Thus, there are still some homeless people around that block. It is just a few minutes walk to Powell Steet Station, where shopping, cable car, restaurants are, and you can easily connect to SFO airport there as well as to other part of the City. The tourist info centre is there too. I would recommend to buy a public transportation pass as it includes the expensive cable car ride. - The room size is fine and quite cozy. - The breakfast is okay

Perhaps overly cautious regarding security, but it made us feel safer. The location couldn't have been better.

"Not a bad hotel, just in a bad area"
Hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful. On the fringe of a rough area, so beware at night - maybe take a taxi back to the hotel.

"Basic, budget hotel is a good location"
The room was clean, had a small bathroom with shower. The bed was comfortable. Had a small refrigerator, old TV with cable. Only complaint would be all the street noise, there was no air conditioner, so needed to keep the windows open at night. Otherwise if your just looking for a basic, cheap hotel room, this is a good option.
