We love sharing our peaceful lake house with guests who want to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. That said, this is a true country experience in the heart of Texas, and it's important to come with the right expectations.
Please keep in mind:
This is lakefront living, surrounded by trees, grass, and water which means you will encounter bugs, spiders, and other local wildlife.
While we take steps to manage pests, it's impossible (and unnatural) to eliminate them entirely. The back deck and outdoor areas are rustic and natural, offering incredible views and a more
"outdoorsy" environment than what you may be used to.
If you're ready to relax in a serene natural setting and embrace the outdoors with a flexible and adventurous mindset, we'd love to host you!

Family Weekend

Was a very nice place to stay for the weekend with my family. Didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit because it had been raining and the wood was wet but that’s OK we still had a good time.

Bob Sandlin lake house

Excellent lake view property. Stayed 6 nights with family members. Kitchen facilities well set up but could use more large pots, pans and utensils. House was clean and well furnished. Outside could use a little tidying up. About 20 minute drive to town. Overall a great stay and would recommend to others.

Beautiful Lake House

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, clean and well supplied lake house. We fished, swam, used the kayaks and paddle board, relaxed in the hammock, grilled on the deck, and roasted marshmallows in the fire pit daily. The home was well supplied with everything we needed, there was plenty of room for all 5 of us, and the property was as beautiful as pictured and described. Our dog loved it there too!

Lake house

Little hard to find. Nice house. The people in the small house next door pretty much took over the boat ramp and dock. We did not get our boat on the water. I believe you should let people know about the neighbors.

A true hidden gem!

This lake house really is a perfect slice of paradise! We were blown away and found the house and location to be SO much more than expected. The pictures are accurate, but you won't believe how serene, peaceful, and private it feels. You can live it up with easy lake access and fun activities like fishing, boating, and kayaking. When you are ready to relax, you'll do it in style while enjoying the view from the large deck, in a hammock, or together by a campfire. It's a tremendous value maintained from a distance by a friendly and professional host. I'm already planning my next visit!

What a wonderful get-away!!

Two days was way to short at this really wonderful house on the lake! Very relaxing and comfortable. Nicely decorated, clean and bright and a great air conditioner! Huge deck with amazing views of the lake and sunsets and the stars at night were so bright. Nice grill on the deck for cooking out then stargazing. The property is very large and you have the entire fingertip lot to yourself. You can relax in the hammock under the trees, kayak, stand up board, swim, fish from the private dock or a bass boat is available for rental. We will definitely be going back but staying for longer than two days the next time! It was the perfect escape for the stresses of city life. Thank you Skip for a great experience!
