"We originally booked a garden bungalow, but were placed in the older side of the oceanfront rooms instead. We ended up liking it better, so we kept it. The rooms were older, but comfortable and clean. Very close to the ocean, pool, and food. We LOVED swimming in the ocean and jumping off the cliffs. The water was amazing. Warm and clear. For us this was much nicer than the small beachfront on the sister resort, Legends. Along with swimming a lot, we also walked to restaurants along the road, and even walked all the way into Negril. Rick’s Cafe and Xtabi were also two nearby locations that we walked to and swam. It was easy to run/jog along the road early in the mornings before the traffic picked up. We did not purchase all inclusive. Instead we ate the breakfast buffet and a late lunch. That was enough food for us each day, as the portions were large. The wifi worked great. We were able to work remotely when our jobs required it. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed talking with the staff. They were quick to laugh with us, and provided great service. We rented a car to drive from Montego Bay to Samsara. But in the end we wished we had just taken the shuttle. We had to do the trip after sundown. Driving at night was very terrifying for us. Narrow roads. Potholes. Stray dogs. And driving on the wrong side of the road (for us Canadians). Driving during the day proved to be much more enjoyable, but in hindsight we didn’t need the car rental. It would have been easy to access tax"

"First time in Jamaica. We will be back! The hotel was amazing. Staff was super efficient. We’re not big drinkers, but what we had was great. Love the juice machine in the 24 hour snack bar. Very staff member was always busy and always smiling! Food was great. The only fail was the steakhouse but I kind of expected that from other reviews. "

"Staff was so polite and helpful. Their approach is almost like a friend helping a friend. Very easy to have a conversation with and get to know a little about them. The grounds were amazing. Noticed the beach area was free from tree debris and raked. Super clean beach area, even on the shoreline is kept clean of natural debris. Rooms were kept at a 10, cleaned and restocked daily. Housekeeping was so nice, left person touches on your room each day. Ate at all the restaurants and the best resort food in Jamaica. Always a concern when you are at a resort. The smaller size of this resort is its advantage, food does not taste bulk or processed. Fresh and tasteful at every meal. Everyone must of been feeling the same, because the other customers were also at ease and very relaxed. If you are looking for a nice romantic place to feel the love, this is your spot. "
