We stayed here only for the one night before an early flight. The room was very nice and very quiet given that we were at the airport. Didn't have time to really check out any of the hotel amenities but it's a nice place to stay if you need/have to be at the Orlando airport.
Great location, staff did a great job.
Fire alarm took place on our 1st night.
Stayed a week and by the last day totally forgot about that disturbance. Courtesy ride to & from the airport was the best!
We needed to stay at this hotel due to Hurricane Matthew and the coast being evacuated. The only issue was that the morning breakfast was sparsely stocked. All breakfast items were empty by 8:30am and refilled very slowly. Due to this I gave a family with two small children much of the food I had taken. I'm assuming this is not the usual situation. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were pleasant. The shuttle driver was exceptional and stopped by the gas station on our way back to the hotel so we could get drinks and snacks due to all the local eateries being closed due to the storm.
The room seemed clean and the furniture and bathroom had been updated. Those were the best parts. The water pressure was terrible in the shower and felt like it was barely coming out. The breakfast in the morning wasn't that great even compared to a normal hotel breakfast. The walls are also very thin, so you can hear even a normal conversation. One of my biggest issues was the hotel shuttle. After calling the hotel, I was told to expect the shuttle in 15 minutes, but after 35 minutes I called again. They told me it would be there in 5 minutes (just on the other side of the airport). After over an hour of waiting in the heat and humidity, I just got an Uber instead. I would rather they have just told me that it was going to be awhile.
Suburban neighborhoods and green spaces hem the Orlando International Airport, directly east of the International Drive tourist thoroughfare. Two large attractions are near the airport’s flight path. The Florida Mall is one of the largest shopping centers in Orlando. Nearby, the Orlando Watersports Complex is designed for wakeboarding, waterskiing, and wakeskating.
