If you're planning a Las Vegas holiday, you'll want to stop and see the world's tallest Ferris wheel. The High Roller opened March 31 and the 550-foot ride offers a 360-degree view of the city, according to USA Today.
There are more than 2,000 LED lights on the wheel that can hold up to 1,120 people at once. Riders enjoy a 30-minute ride in one of 28 Italian glass cabins, the source stated.
The ride was developed by Caesars Entertainment and is a focal point of The LINQ, a shopping, dining and entertainment district, according to USA Today. The ride brought a change to the Las Vegas skyline that is well-known for its replica of the Eiffel Tower.
According to the source, reserving a cabin is an option and some have already done so for summer weddings. The best time to take a ride on the High Roller is at sunset or nighttime when you'll catch a breathtaking glimpse of the mountains in the distance and the bright lights of the city below.
Tickets for the High Roller are $24.95. There's also an express ticket for $59.95 that allows riders to skip the line and board at any time.
