Although it has not been confirmed, fans of the Harry Potter series may be able to stay in a Hogwarts-themed hotel outside of London, England, according to U.S.A. Today.
Warner Brothers Entertainment recently began a renovation process of Leavesden Studios, where the Harry Potter films were shot. The $160 million redevelopment includes a 120-room hotel that could incorporate several themes from the famous book and movie series, the news source reported.
Additionally, the redevelopment will create a behind-the-scenes Harry Potter tour, which is expected to open before the 2012 Olympics. According to PropertyWeek.com, travelers will have the opportunity to explore the sets that were used in the popular films, such as the Great Hall at Hogwarts and Professor Dumbledore's office.
Travelers can also visit "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter," located at the Universal Parks and Resorts' Islands of Adventure theme park in Orlando, Florida. Here, guests will get to check out a number of attractions such as the Dragon Challenge and the Flight of the Hippogriff rollercoaster. They can also explore one of the newer exhibitions called "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey," which takes travelers on an hour tour of a castle.
