Haji Ali (Pass by)
Haji Ali Dargah of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari is a beautiful floating Mosque, also known as the most recognisable landmarks of Mumbai. Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari was a Sufi Saint and a wealthy merchant from Uzbekistan who gave up all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca and settled in then Bombay and until his death, he kept spreading knowledge about Islam. Before his death, he advised his followers to not bury him in a graveyard and should drop his shroud ('kaftan') in the ocean. The Dargah Sharif was built in 1431 in his memory by his followers at the same place.
