Your journey begins in Darwin and then takes you through woodlands, wetlands and flood prone regions that define the Top End. You will witness first-hand the impact of the annual wet season on the landscape. Your knowledgeable guide will share insights into the ecology of the area, the importance of floods in maintaining the delicate ecosystem, and the history and culture of the region's Indigenous peoples.

In Kakadu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning scenery, ancient rock art, and diverse wildlife you'll explore the outlier known as Ubirr. This is one of Kakadu's most significant cultural sites. Here, you'll discover ancient rock art that dates back tens of thousands of years and learn about the stories and traditions passed down through generations of Indigenous Australians.

Another feature will be the premium indigenous culture experience in Kakadu, Guluyambi Culture Cruise. The Guluyambi Culture Cruise is an immersive cultural experience that takes visitors on a journey through the ancient lands of the Bininj/Mungguy people in Kakadu National Park, Australia. Led by knowledgeable and friendly Indigenous guides, the tour offers visitors an authentic insight into the traditional lifestyles, beliefs, and customs of the Bininj/Mungguy people.

Throughout the cruise, the guides share stories of their ancestral lands and provide demonstrations of traditional hunting and gathering techniques. Visitors have the opportunity to try their hand at spear throwing and basket weaving, gaining a deeper understanding of the skills and knowledge required to live off the land.

Another highlight of the tour is a visit to Arnhem Land, an area only accessible to visitors with special permits. Here, visitors step onto country and witness spear throwing and and rock art first hand. The Guluyambi Culture Cruise is a truly unique and unforgettable experience, offering visitors an opportunity to connect with the traditional owners of the land and gain a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of the Bininj/Mungguy people.
