The fort was named Fort Van Den Bosch because the fort was built on the initiative of Governor General Van Den Bosch in 1839. The location of the Van Den Bosch fort was very strategic because it was in the corner of the meeting between the Bengawan Solo River and the Madiun River. surrounded by high soil (embankments) so that it looks hidden from the outside. Therefore, this fort by the surrounding community is also known as the pendem fort. after explore Ngawi we will drop off you back to your next hotel in surabaya.
