So close for the Eurostar

We just needed a hotel to stay at because we were on our way to Paris. The Novotel is right next door to St Pancrass station. This so convenient, comfortable and quite good value for money.

Nice business class type hotel.

Nice hotel and seems a lot of business travelers use it. The restaurant and bar was very busy all the time. We got a room on the 3rd floor and the window was blocked off so we couldn’t see out. It didn’t matter since we barely stayed in. The bed is really a king size and not 2 doubles put together. The 16th floor has a nice panoramic view of St Pancras and the British library. The neighborhood is convenient and busy. Since it is only 2 blocks from St Pancras, a lot of travelers were coming and going. There are plenty of places to eat near the station. As for the underground train, it’s still quite a walk under the ground once you get to the station. Breakfast buffet was 15 euro per person. It was was good but not worth that price. Go outside and there is plenty of stores, including a Starbucks. Very convenient if you have an early train at St. Pancras (which is why I chose this place).

Excellent location but it should be only a 3 to 3 1/2 stars hotel for its condition & service.

Room is not ready even at 2:30pm (check in time is 12pm)....we have to wait for more than 15 minutes for the room to be ready. Location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from King Cross Train Station. Can take train directly from airport to the train station next to the hotel. Room condition is OK but it should be a 3 to 3 1/2 stars hotel instead of 4 stars.
