Looking forward to going back VERY SOON!
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It is sleek, modern and sexy. My room was comfortable and the bed was great! Although a bit on the small side and my view was of the air conditioning unit, I still enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Charged for the room...over and over
I prepaid the room through Expedia. On checkout, they insisted I didn’t and charged me again. I called Expedia and the representative was able to get them to credit back the money. A day later, I saw a charge from the hotel for the room...again...plus an extra $100. I emailed customer service, who responded and had the money credited back yet again. A couple days later they did it again. I once again emailed customer service and they had it credited back for a 3rd time. They do put a hold on your credit card since there is a mini bar in the room, but these were separate instances. The room itself was amazing and the room service was excellent. However, since overall I was charged 4 times for the room, and had to bring it to their attention each time, I will not be staying there again.

Andaz rocks in San Diego
The San Diego Andaz is a chic, modern hotel with excellent service and a prime location in the Gaslamp district. It is one of my favorite places to stay in San Diego. The restaurant has a great value happy hour bar menu with oinnovative and delicious light dinner options.

Great hip hotel- small room
The hotel is really nice, centrally located, and the service is excellent. My only complaint is that our room this time was very small and our windows faced into the center of the building where the vents are located so it was always dark inside even though it was sunny outside.

A good hotel if you can get it at a discount
The hotel has the reputation of being one of the nicer places around, but it doesn’t take long to see through the smoke and realize that there is nothing extraordinary about it. I got a great price through Expedia and so was very pleased with the value, but it would not have been worth the regular price for a weekend night. Most of the staff was very nice and you even get complimentary snacks and beverages from the mini bar every day. Personally, I did not care for the bars and clubs at the hotel, which is what draws so many people to the place. Overall though, it was a very good hotel.

Great if you want to party all night.
The hotel is nice, clean, and well appointed. The room we stayed in had a view of the hotel wall, however, and the noise from the club upstairs kept us awake at night. If I had known this before hand, I would have been able to ask for a room on the other side of the building or made other arrangements. The complimentary ’Escalade’ service was a nice touch. It would have been nice if they could’ve taken us to the airport. Overall, a good experience, but keep these things in mind.

First Class Charming Boutique Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ivey (Andaz). Great location to the Gas Lamp District. Everyone was extremely helpful and responsive and seemed to enjoy working there. Our room was great - but it was on the 6th floor and we were there for 8 nights so we heard the loug music and partying from the top level bar on Thurs/Fri/Sat nights. Oh well. We definitely reocmmend this hotel and would stay there again.

i would never go back
rooms are very small. no wear to put you things. from the window the only thing that i could was a wall .

Great night on the town
Everything about this hotel is fun. Night club on the roof, the many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood, the glassed in bathroom. This is not just a room, it is an excuse to celebrate.

San Diago Ivy Hotel
I would not stay anyplace else. If I go back to San Diago the Ivy is where I will be. The staf was very helpfull and friendly. The room I had was a 1 bedroom suite and I was more than what you would exepct for the price.
