Nice hotel, but lost some serious sleep.

Nice hotel, good location. MAjor issue was a wedding party at the pool, our room was rm 405, not far from the pool. The music was so loud I could not fall asleep at all. I called front dest at 10:00pm and was told that it’s probably the Casino across the street. I knew this was incorrect. I called again at 11:00pm to complain about the loud noise, and the duty manager said the wedding party should be over by now. Had I been told that music from a live band would take place I would have asked for a room away from the pool area. Other that a disturbed night (I actually went there to catch up on sleep) it was a very nice hotel and the staff at the front desk the best.

Needs work to rooms

Hotel is ideally situated near the marina and a short walk from all tourist attractions and the shops. The room while clean was in very poor condition (bubbles in carpet, leaking roof to balcony and bathroom in need of a major overhaul with rust stains and gaps in the tiles. Entire hotel seems to be a bit ’tired’ and need to upgrade the facilities to command the current asking rate for accommodation.

Extremely disappointed - not the Hilton we had expected

We booked the Hilton for a luxury retreat. To cut a long story short our original room was tired and nothing like the 5* we had booked and paid for !. Service was largely non existent. Staff and management seem to be hanging out for the upgrade due in January but until then - this Hilton has no sparkle.
