With Expedia, changing your mind is free.

Things happen. Plans change. Sometimes you just can’t help it. Expedia understands this, and that’s why we don’t charge a fee if you change or cancel your booking with us.

So whether it’s a flight, hotel, holiday package or car hire booking, we don’t think freedom and flexibility are something you should have to pay for – with us, they’re simply part of the service.

Importantly, while Expedia.co.nz won’t charge fees for changing or cancelling a booking, some suppliers may impose non-refundable rate plans or fees that we are required to pass on. These fees are highest when cancellations occur within 48 hours of your scheduled travel dates.

So, as a tip, if you must change your travel plans, try and let us know more than 48 hours in advance. That’s the best way to avoid last-minute penalties from our suppliers
