The bathroom smelled like mildew which made me ill. The room was also very dusty. Also, the “concierge” was not helpful at all. We arrived early for our cruise so we could see Tokyo. We expected the Hyatt to help us get this trip booked but all we got was a brochure printed from the internet and told to take a train. We had no idea how to take the train so the information was no help. Very disappointed that the Hyatt was not what we expected especially for the price.

Very quiet area!! Walkable to nice park. The staff was so Very helpful in arranging some transportation before we arrived! We had a corner room on the 12th floor…really enjoyed looking around the area from there! Very close to Chinatown! And their Chinatown was clean, friendly, and I felt safe! And on our last night there, they had spectacular fireworks in the harbor! We enjoyed them from our room! Thanks for the hospitality and fireworks !!

The attentive care the staff takes for all their guests to ensure you have an excellent and personalized experience is truly commendable. This was to my surprise because I thought the value was very affordable and was skeptical. But they make you feel welcome from the time you first arrive. Honestly giving you almost a 5 star experience. You feel you don’t have to worry because you know the staff will take care of you. The food variety was great especially for those with restrictive diets(vegan/vegetarian). Very clean upscale vibe. Rooms were reset perfectly every time we came back. The location was amazing as it is a 2 min walk from the Minatomirai station which can connect to many lines and get you to almost anywhere. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be coming back!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time. Plenty of staff eager to help with all your needs. The staff really made my stay extra special with their kindness and attention. The Concierge got a last minute reservation for a restaurant difficult to get into, booked private taxi for an entire day to visit the Buddha and temples and even negotiated the best price for us. The rooms were spotless with many extra amenities such as slippers, pajamas and of course robes. Personal items such as toothpaste and brush, razors, face cleansers and oils, body loofahs and more were replenished every day. The showers were amazing and of course the famous warmed spa toilet seat. Very conveniently located to cruise port and all Yokohama has to offer. Walk to Chinatown. Highly recommend and would stay again hopefully soon.

The front desk and all the staff around the front desk are super nice ,friendly and helpful. Very impressed. We stayed there for 3 nights after the cruise. At night saw the note for the towel replacement and linen replacement need to let the front desk know. So I let them know that I need the towel change daily and no need to change linen daily the next day morning. When I came back at night, the towels was changed, but the room service didn’t tidy up the bed, garbage cans almost full, coffee cups still sitting on the counter used. After a full day out, come back to your room and saw that, it was real disappointed. So my wife went down and told the front desk that make sure tidy up the room properly next day. The front desk girl asked My wife to tell her one by one what need to be done in the room and she marked it down. I’m not sure if that’s the way how Japanese hotel works. But sure different from all the hotel I’ve been to at all other countries. The next day, the room service did a good job

Yokohama has many excellent hotel options, and Hyatt Regency was no exception. Very friendly staff, spacious clean room with amenities neatly set up, and walking distance to key areas such as Chinatown, Red Brick Buildings, Minatomirai, Gundam Factory (closing end of this month), Air Cabin, Cruise ship port, etc. Great two nights there and will be back again next time.
