The Snow Lodge cabin was very spacious and comfortable. It is the best place to stay to watch Old Faithful at any time of the day and several times a day if you want. In the evening managed to get a shot with a Bison next to it. Convenient place to visit the surrounding geysers. Only drawback to this area are the limited dining options.

This property had some construction going on at the time we visited; but, it did not interfere with anything we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I considered our trip to Yellowstone and the three different places we stayed while we were in the park to meet our needs and each place had its’ own unique features. This location offered the most options for meals. I would suggest to those planning to visit the park, to bring games/activities for the evening hours when you will be inside. This lodge did have an area with game board tables and the front desk had game pieces for them.

The snow lodge was a nice hotel with most staff being very friendly and helpful. We liked our room, which was very spacious. It was easy to hear people talking in the hallway so whether you can enjoy a quiet night is pretty much up to the others staying on the same floor as you. In its dining room we had a waiter that completely failed to serve us. He ignored our table for most part of our time there, never brought us water and the drinks we ordered, and in the end gave us the bill that included the drinks he never served. The food was below average. So we walked to the Old Faithful Inn restaurant next to the lodge for meals during the rest of our stay. The Inn provided much better dining experience and very decent cappuccino at its espresso bar. However there were a lot more tourists doing sight seeing at the Inn, making the lobby as noisy and hectic like a circus. So I would recommend sleeping at the lodge and eating meals at the Inn.

When we visited temps ranged from 20s at night to low 40s and this is a cozy warm place to stay. We cracked the window at night and were very comfortable. Only downside was our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 6:30 pm. We were asked to wait an hour and then it was ready. The staff were very nice about it, just frustrating on our end after a very long day of traveling. I highly recommend staying here when in Yellowstone. You can’t beat the location and the accommodations are well maintained.

Our room was very cold when we arrived, nothing was done to address our concerns. Bed was uncomfortable. Ate breakfast and dinner at the lodge..meals were not hot and were very expensive. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly. Will not stay again at the Lodge, too high priced for the accommodations.

The Snow Lodge is beautiful and in a beautiful setting. All the staff were especially nice and helpful. You will be out of luck if you are dependent on your internet; the staff suggested that we call a number, but we could not call out on our phones in this location. Also, since we were visiting out-of-season, the dining options were limiting. Although the food was excellent, there are few options from which to choose.

Surprised that our beds were not made up for the days we were there. Also, the obsidian dining room menu is limited in that many of the entrées have unusual ingredients, with no options. Items like fried elk ravioli, which you assume to be a neutral spice, were extremely spicy with hatch chilies. We were told that the chilies were only in the external salsa, but they were in the ravioli as well.

The positive aspects were: room clean, had mini fridge, and location, location & location. The negative aspects were: No Wi-Fi (though included with room), staff was unhelpful in helping to rectify Wi-Fi, public phones by restaurant did not work, restaurant food ok but lacking in game choices (liked the Bison tartare), and restaurant staff not ready for prime time.

Line at check in and staff was nice but said first day reopening and weather caused computer issues. Room and hotel were fine and sat in frint of fireplace in bar. Limited opening had general store closed at 5 ot 1hr after checkin. We arrived 5:15 so no choices on food. Had nice drink setting in bar then asked for table at dining room. Sat at least 15min with only water. No one ever came. Food pricey with small options. We walked out and 3 managers were standing behind us oblivious we were never served just talking. Oy other option was fast food grill closing at 7. Rushed over very friendly staff here but food was just average. Missed opportunites in the village for coffee service and outdoor seating like by a fire would have been great.

You checked in on our opening day and all rooms had been cleaned before our guests arrived, so I am wondering what we missed. Were you asked if you wanted housekeeping during your stay upon check in?

It’s close to the old faithful geyser. You can walk there as many times as you want. We watched three times of the eruption. One even at night.

Its a great place to stay inside the park. SInce it was the end of the season, there were no crowds. It saves a lot of time staying in the park if you have only a few days to visit Yellowstone. The dining room staff was great to talk to and the local fare was really good.

Our stay was a great experience. The staff was polite and helpful. The only experience that was disappointing was the meals at the restaurant. It was not family friendly. Should have meals that most people are used to eating.

The restaurant at the Snow Lodge was delicious. We had a dinner buffet at Old Faithful Inn and it was horrible. The buffet was very messy, and the food was substandard. The selections were limited and the food was disappointing. We read reviews which warned not to go there, but we took a chance. It is shameful that such a beautiful inn would fail to address the shortcomings of its dining after consistently negative reviews.

Feels like made only for upperclass people
Customer services all around were horrible. $400/nt for a smoltering hot room with no AC or amenities, no water pressure, no helpful people,l in sight, outrageously priced food ($40/pp+) and upturned noses at every counter. Will never return or recommend. Didn't feel comfortable or welcome at any time during our stay.
