Top Yellowstone National Park Hotel Reviews

Grant Village - Inside the Park
6/10 Okay
"Don’t expect too much as far as amenities go, it is owned by the federal government. Room was very small and shower was about the size of a travel trailer. The restaurant was ok for what it is, and it’s the only option around so just don’t have your expectations too high."

Yellowstone Westgate Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great location. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff! Room has not been updated in a while. Exhaust fan in bathroom was very loud. Fridge in room was not working. The staff replaced it but the replacement was not very effective either. "

Kelly Inn West Yellowstone
10/10 Excellent
"The location of the hotel is good. It’s very close to the Main Street and also close to west entrance of Yellowstone. The room is well maintained and beds, sofa, bathroom and washbasin are located nicely. The hotel serves hot meals breakfast also you can have coffee, fruit juice and hot chocolate all the time."

Blue Buffalo Resort
10/10 Excellent
"This little cabin and the mgmt were both AWESOME! Check in was done online, with an entry code coming via text. There was a blacktopped parking spot next to each cabin, along with two rockers on covered front porch. The cabin was super clean and well appointed. Kitchen had dishes, silverware, glasses, and pans. Full size refrig, stove (w/oven), microwave, and toaster were provided. Plenty of towels in bathroom, and generous shower for a little cabin. Bed was really comfortable and pillows were nice. Table and chairs for 4 and a nice leather sofa. (Could have used a coffee table or ottoman?) Big TV in both L/R and Bdrm. Cute low ceiling loft, but said it had twin bed? They looked more like two child size beds...but maybe we were supposed to push them together? Extra bedding for both queen and twin was upstairs, so my adult daughter just made up sofa and was comfy. There were books/binders with info about cabin and area. Pizza at their place was very good. Didn't try breakfast, but think it was offered. We received the most amazing thing was the communication!! The texts for check-in/check-out etc were good. We booked for a single night and planned to move after that. We loved this cabin so much, we decided to make it our base and stay for the entire 3 days we were at Yellowstone (35 min to west gate if no traffic at gate). We decided this at 11pm at night, and received response THAT NIGHT...allowing us to plan for morning. They were SO nice!! 10++ RATING"

Starlite Yellowstone, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Overall, an excelllent hotel for families and would definitely stay here again. Unfortunately the room I booked with bunkbed for kids was oversold, so they gave me a smaller room with 2 queens for 5 people. However, they comped us breakfast which was worth it. The on-site restaurant Black Sheep was very good, and service at the restaurant was excellent. There was a small pool with twisty slide which had very strong chlorine smell but the kids loved it. The rooms were very clean and modern with high quality bedding, and staff brought extra towels to our room promptly upon request. There were ice and water dispensers and coin laundry with 3 washers and 3 dryers, open 24 hours. The exercise room was clean and had massage chairs which were nice to sit in while waiting for laundry. We didn't use the game room but it looked clean and organized."

Jackson Lake Lodge

"My only complain is the free coffee. Those Keureg machines aren’t that great"

Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel

"Really nice people, complementary laundry and excellent location. Too bad the drive to Yellowstone from the hotel is quite slow"

Lake Yellowstone Hotel & Cabins - Inside the Park

"The main Hotel was great. We stayed at the Sandpiper lodge behind the main hotel because the main hotel was booked. The rooms were very small and no drawers to put your things in, we lived out of our suitcase. Very noisy, you could hear people above you walking around. Not good at 5AM. We spend our evenings at the main hotel sun room which was very nice."
