On arrival was put in a room out of the hotel. There was no option of drinks at the bar. The hotel inside needs a clean and smells. There was only an hand full of people staying there. The pool was covered over. The hotel needs a total refurb.
Come for the beautiful views, fantastic places to visit, but stay for the wonderful family and staff who run the hotel and enjoy the fun.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Very good staff
The Hotel which is a little tired is in a very nice area one thing that spoils it is the unfinished building work, which is just outside the breakfast room and spoils what could be a lovely view of the straits. That aside the hotel staff are very good and very helpful.

This is a great place to stay - gorgeous location, a little dated, but very good people. We totally enjoyed our two nights and great breakfasts. This place offers fantastic value for money.
The room was amazingly clean - like no hotel I've ever been in the cleaners here are amazing.
Great location, very quiet and picturesque.
The only tiny niggles and they are niggles not faults:
The wifi is next to useless unless you're in the main building.
The bed sheets have a plastic sheeting to them so every time you move they crinkle.
The staff are amazing but there's just not enough of them.
We were waiting for 10 mins to check in as the only person who could check us in wasn't around.
But these are silly things that do not detract from an amazing stay
Would definitely stay again!
