I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 short days. The staff was very helpful in locating, recommending and directing to various activities both on and off the resort. Erica at the front desk was always smiling and wishing us a great day. Clean and comfortable room. The gondola ride into base was not only fun and convenient but gave a beautiful view of park. More than enough free parking. The only thing missing was the ice skating pond, but that was closed due to the warmer weather but the front desk staff was quick to offer alternate locations to skate. I do not only recommend this hotel, but I can't get wait to get back!
Just stayed at this hotel and it was a great experience. The owner was so friendly and if you have a pet this is the place to stay. No extra fee for a pet or deposit. The beds were comfortable and for the price you can't beat it. The location is right next to several restaurants and shopping. I would recommend getting a room with a king size bed just to have some extra space. Very cozy and has a hot tub, which was really fun.
The Beaver Village Lodge is an old school ski lodge, complete with free breakfast and old photographs of the area. If you're expecting a traditional 5 star chain hotel with up-to-date everything, then this place is not for you. If you want a comfortable place to stay after a day of hard skiing or snowboarding and don't care about up-to-date amenities, then you'll be just fine here. The free breakfast in the morning is fantastic--sausage, eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, toast, english muffins, croissants, 4 kinds of cereal, 3 kinds of juice, coffee, hot chocolate...if you can't find something you like here, then, well, you can always buy an expensive generic breakfast in the ski village.
