The hotel is very nice in terms of staffing, cleanliness, accommodation and distance from the resort activities. We had a great room with fireplace, kitchen, bar, refrigerator, nice coffee, and complete with kitchen gadgets. The view of the room was perfect . Staff were very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping were excellent. The hotel was also very good to our doggies.
Condo room directly next to a major lift, ski rental part of the buildings first floor, and condo came with everything you would want in your own apartment from a fridge all the way down to egg beaters and wine opener for someine who wanted to stay for awhile and cook. Would book over again in a heartbeat
The Beaver Village Lodge is an old school ski lodge, complete with free breakfast and old photographs of the area. If you're expecting a traditional 5 star chain hotel with up-to-date everything, then this place is not for you. If you want a comfortable place to stay after a day of hard skiing or snowboarding and don't care about up-to-date amenities, then you'll be just fine here. The free breakfast in the morning is fantastic--sausage, eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, toast, english muffins, croissants, 4 kinds of cereal, 3 kinds of juice, coffee, hot chocolate...if you can't find something you like here, then, well, you can always buy an expensive generic breakfast in the ski village.
