Independent in Windhoek

"The Windhoek Country Club is an affordable hotel that offers good service. The sunbathing round the cold pool is great and the food offering is sufficient for a few nights stay without repetition. The internet speed and consistency lets the place down though, intermittant drops were experienced as well as an hour outage, which in the modern world makes this no good for the professional traveller."

"Breakfast is good. Hotel you have to get wet if it’s raining to get to your room. Found hairs in the bed. Got hustled by one of the workers for a city tour. Towels have the year on them. We got one from 2023 that was brown. They will not see me again. "

"Was pretty good with nice pool and spa but cockroaches in the bathroom were a problem. Breakfast was nice. "

"I travel a lot and Avani has one of the best hotel breakfast experiences. It's also in a convenient location with nearby coffee/bakery shops and a small shopping center attached. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking for a central location with plenty of shopping options. "

"Rooms were clean, large shower, food in restaurant was good. Friendly staff. Grocery store and mall a block away."
